You were working on the cake when Ben came through the door. He had his suitcase and his backpack. Then he sat his things down on floor. Ben went upstairs to surprise TJ. You heard laughing and talking until the door shut. Of course, they were going to be busy for awhile. Plus, it will keep TJ out of your hair. You cleaned the house for the birthday party. You baked and icing the cake. You were making dinner when Elaine came into the house.
"Do you need help with that, dear?" She asked.
"Yes, I do." You answered.
Elaine began to help you with the cooking when Doug and Annie showed up with Gemma. TJ and Ben came downstairs after TJ got showered. You could smell his cologne. Ben smelled your cooking. Gemma stole a cookie from the cookie jar. Elaine and you started to set up the table with the help of Ben. Finally, everything was set and ready for the twins' birthday.
"Where's Bud?" Annie asked.
"I don't know." You answered.
As soon as you spoke to Annie, Bud came inside the house. He was smoking a cigar and bought white wine. You groaned and shook your head. TJ went over towards you. He grabbed you by your shoulders. Bud went into the kitchen. Doug and Annie sighed.
"Breathe honey." TJ whispered into your ear.
You nodded, "Let's eat dinner and celebrate Doug and yours' birthday." You told everyone.
During dinner, Elaine looked at you. TJ and Ben were talking to each other. Doug had Gemma on his lap while he ate dinner. Annie was getting up to go the kitchen to get more wine. Bud was eating. Ben click the glass with his knife. Everyone looked up at him.
"I was to say Happy Birthday to the best boyfriend of three years. We are planning for our future together." Ben said.
"I want to say Happy Birthday to my husband of six years and father of three years." Annie said coming into the dining room.
You got up and went to the kitchen. Grabbing the candles and the lighter, you went back to the dining room. Annie and Ben got the cake out. You put the candles on and lit them up. Everyone began to sing Happy Birthday to TJ and Doug. They blew out the candles together. Clapping was heard around the room. TJ cut into the cake and began to hand out slices of cake. While everyone was eating their cake, TJ and Ben got up in front of everyone.
"We have an announcement to make tonight." Ben said.
"Ben and I have decided to start a family together." TJ told everyone.
"What?" said Bud, "How on Earth you're going to do that, son?" He asked TJ.
"We are going to find someone to host our child in their womb for nine months." Ben answered.
"Surrogate or having one of ya play straight for one night with a woman." Bud said.
"I am going to play bisexual for awhile." TJ said.
"Who will be the mother of the child?" Elaine asked.
TJ and Ben glanced over to you. "No! No! No!" You protested. "I can't have a baby. I'm barely can take of myself let alone a baby." You told them.
"You would not be in charge." Ben spoke.
"But still, it's my body." You told Ben.
TJ glanced at you, "We can find another woman to let me impregnate her." He said to Ben.
You walked away from the dining room. TJ sighed and drank his wine. Bud shook his head disbelief. Elaine and Annie began to do the clean up around the dining room. You sat on the swing in the corner of the yard. TJ came out to find you sitting there looking up at the sky. He sat next to you.
