"What do they want with Dad?" I asked her.
"That I do not know Shade," Rouge answered.
"Maybe we should head to G.U.N HQ and read his file maybe..." Ruby trailed off.
"Yeah maybe his file has a hint of why they want him," I sated confidently, "Aurora you stay here with Rouge and call Shard to help you out. Ruby, Oma you are with me!"
They all nodded and me, Oma, and Ruby headed off for G.U.N HQ.

As we walked along the empty halls of the now abandoned G.U.N Headquarters, I found the Commander's Office. I opened the door to reveal a large room with a oak desk at the center.
"Hey! Ruby, Oma! I found the Commander's Office!" I called to them.
They got there and we entered the room and I quickly went through the Commander's desk files and found Dad's. I took it out and read it out loud.
Name:Shadow Robotinc
Age: 45
Skills: Super Speed, Chaos Control, Hand-to-Hand Combat, Wide Knowledge and Usage of Ranged Weapons(a/n:GUNS)
History: Shadow is an known for his highly aggressive attitude and speed. Shadow lived on the Space Colony Arch with Maria Robotinc and Doctor Gerald Robotinc. There Shadow was created and soon put in a capsule and slept for 50 years until later awakened. After that Shadow joined G.U.N and lived his life. Soon a alien invasion occurred and Shadow was said to have blood of these aliens in him allowing the enemy force to control Shadow. After the invaders were defeated Shadow returned to his normal state and continued with life as an agent.

My eyes widened at the fact my own dad wasn't my dad at all.
"Shade? Are you okay?" Ruby asked concerned.
"Y-yeah fine I just need some time alone is all," I told her, "Oma please take this to Rouge and the others you go as well Ruby."
They walked away leaving me alone.
*Yet another timeskip and blame Add for this one tho*
I sat alone on a small hill pretty far from HQ and it had a view of the city. Sure the city looked pretty dang terrible but hey who am I to complain. Someone put their hand on my shoulder, I turned to see Shard with sympathy in his eyes.
"I heard" was all he said and that was all it took for me to finally snap.
I started crying for what seemed like the first time ever in my life. Shard sat down next to me and hugged me and just let me cry in his shirt.
"I-I can't -b-believe that t-the only p-person that I saw as a-a parent isn't" I stuttered trying to calm myself.
"It's okay don't worry things will get better," Shard calmly told me.
"H-how? Things have only gone downhill from this point," I said as I shook.
Shard frowned a little and didn't say a word. Than he pushed me away slightly and took my chin and started strait into my scarlet eyes. He leaned close to me and kissed me. I was shocked but I didn't push him away or anything I just let him do it. He broke the kiss and pulled me close again, he felt so warm I hugged back and griped his jacket. I started to get sleepy, and before I fell asleep in Shard's arms I swore I heard him whisper 'I love you Shade'.
