Hi, you might know me. My name is Percy Jackson and my life is kinda crazy. To sum it up for all of you, Greek, Roman, Norse, and Egyptian gods are real. That's 'gods' with a lowercase 'g'. As far as I'm concerned, the big G also exists but I really don't know what to believe anymore, maybe Magnus has the right idea as an atheist. Anyway, I am the son of the sea god. Which one? Well Poseidon, one of the big three. If your thinking to yourself 'Wow Percy, that's so cool! I wish I could be child of the big three gods' then you clearly don't know anything.

Being a child of the big three gods means monsters are after you almost all the time, it also means you are the major pawns used, and gods like to blame you for stuff that you didn't do. Like say, steal a master lightning bolt. It's not fun, being a demigod never is. You could get killed at almost anytime, every time you go to the mortal world, it could be your last day alive. It's scary and most kids don't live longer than 16 or 18. Some of us get lucky and can lead "normal" lives like George Washington, Harriet Tubman, and William Shakespeare. Others don't get so lucky and they die pretty young.

Anyway, this isn't a story that recaps everything, this is a story about the next chapter in my life. When I was 12 my adventure began, I started going on quest that lead up to the great prophecy. Spoiler alert, it was against the titans and we won. After that, I had my memories taken away and was basically a pawn for Hera's plan to reunite the Greek and Romans. After that whole ordeal we had to face Gaea and Giants, we won, again. Wining did come at a price, like it always does. We lost many people in the second giant war, many of my close friends included. After that I went home, found my mom and stepdad dead, got adopted by my uncle who is a billionaire, and found out that Mr. Tartar Sauce is rising and we have to go to war with him. I found my long-lost sister, got my friends back, got my girlfriend back, and everything was fine. For the time being.

It's now early August, 5 days until Evie and I turn 18. We'll be legal adults and we can get tattoos and all that fun stuff. Technically I already have a tattoo though, it was burned into my forearm. Long story. Anyway, we were all chilling on the beach, like normal. The camp was still recovering but everyone was happy. We weren't fighting anyone, we didn't have to go on killer quests, we didn't have to travel cross-country. Yeah, we were pretty content. Annabeth and I were sitting on the shore, enjoying each others company, Piper, Hazel, and Frank were splashing each other in the water, even Peter P. had come to hang out with Evie. I still don't like them hanging out but if Evie's happy then I think I can manage.

So far everyone has taken to the over world nicely, no side effects that normally come with necromancy stuff. I don't want to jinx it though.

"What are you thinking about Seaweed brain?" I look at Annabeth, I smiled fondly. Her hair looked like it was golden in the sun, her eyes smiled and they were no longer a broken, stormy grey. Her eyes reminded me of when I first met her, her towering over me, calculating, intense grey eyes. She had obviously been through a lot but she wasn't yet damaged by the world.

"Earth to Percy," Annabeth waved a hand in front of my face, I was staring at her.

"You ok there Seaweed brain? You zoned out with this dumb smile on your face." She laughed, I cherished her smile, her laugh, the way her eyes seemed to light up, jeez I'm really a sap huh?

"Yeah, yeah I'm ok. Just admiring the view." I wink at her, she punches my arm but laughs regardless, man I really did miss this

"Hey love birds!" Piper calls to us, "There's a new camper!" She points at Half-Blood Hill. Sure enough, there's a crowd surrounding Thalia's Tree. I get up, so does Annabeth. I look around at the group to see if anyone else is gonna head over with us. Evie and Peter stopped splashing each other, Evie looked at me confused. Piper and Hazel were looking at each other while Frank was staring at the hill. Looks like they all noticed the commotion, I gesture for us to go check it out. Frank looks at Hazel, who nods and starts to make her way out of the water, Piper looks unsure and hesitates for a minute but decided to join us. Evie pulls Peter's arm and they make their way over to us as well. Our beach day was forgotten as we all made our way up the hill.

I slipped my shirt on as we made our way over, Annabeth already had on an oversized tank top over her bathing suit, Frank slipped on his tank top, Piper and Hazel both slipped on their coverup. Evie had on a covering bathing suit to begin with but she still put on a dress thing. Peter seemed pretty confident with his body and he didn't bother with a shirt, to be fair, he was ripped. Anyway, we made it up the hill and saw this beat up female, she was knocked out and has quite a few mini cuts all over. It looked like she also had a sprained ankle. Will rushed up the hill over to the teen, at least, she looked like a teen. Nico wasn't far behind him.

With Nico's help, Will managed to get the teen up and together they moved her to the infirmary. You could tell Nico was hesitant at first but he got over it pretty quickly. Anything for his boyfriend right? I'm not upset at the whole 'Not my type thing' anymore, it was awhile ago and to be fair he is like my little cousin, even though he was born in the 40's.

I followed them to the infirmary, I think Annabeth was still with me but I really have no idea. I don't know what drew me in with this girl but something about her made me want to know more. It wasn't like I had developed feelings for her, I didn't know her! It was that she reminded me of someone. Someone from a distant dream, a memory I couldn't place. Will set her down in a bed and started to patch up her cuts, Nico stood in the corner. I sat down in a chair near her, Annabeth put a hand on my shoulder.

"I don't know what it is about her, but she reminds me of someone. Someone important to me, it's like a distant memory or a dream that I couldn't quite place. I don't know, sorry." I confessed to Annabeth. She reassuringly pat my shoulder

"It's ok, I get it. I'll be with the others if you need me. Piper seemed pretty insistent about going back to the beach anyway." Annabeth kissed my cheek then walked away. I slid down a bit in the chair and slowly I fell asleep...
