Liz and The Titan's Curse

Chapter Four

I'm standing in a band room. There are two cheerleaders fighting Percy. He slices right through one of them. She disintegrates. Another girl with red hair is throwing drum sticks at the cheerleader.

I sit up. That was weird. Probably in the future. Ino comes up to me and starts to purr. I pet her. I stare into her yellow-green eyes. She runs her head in my hand. Thalia walks up.

"Hey," I say.

"Cute kitten," she says.

"Thanks. Need something?" I ask her.

"Yeah. Time to get off," she replies. I put Ino in my bag and hop out of the bed of the truck. I follow Thalia off the train. Everyone is waiting for us. Snow covers the ground. We are surrounded by mountains. There are suppose all around us.

"I'll look for transportation," Zoë states. She walks off.

"I'll get the coffee," Grover informs us.

"I'll come," Bianca and Percy says. I start to get dizzy so I sit on a bench.

"I'm good here," I inform them. Percy motions for Bianca to go on a head. He asks something, but I don't here him.

I'm standing in the throne room in Olympus. The entire place is destroyed. Luke is in the middle of the room. But his eyes are gold this time. He smacks Annabeth across the room. Then he kills a guy with an eye patch I don't recognize.

I realize I'm on the ground. I usually don't go into a vision. I steady my breathing. Percy is next to me on his knees.

"Are you okay?" he asks me. I nod my head.

"Another vision?" he asks. Again, I just nod my head. Percy helps me up. Thalia and Bianca are staring at me.

"What just happened?" Bianca asks.

"She had a vision again," Percy states.

"Again?" Thalia asks. Oh yeah, she hadn't been told about my 'special gifts' yet. Before we can explain to her what we mean, Grover falls to the ground. A wind blows like it is giving us a warning.

"Thou cup," Zoë shouts. Grover drops his cup. When it hits the ground, the bird prints fly off. Then Grover pass out. Everything stops. I turn around and see the zombie skeletons coming towards us.

"Get ready," I tell them.

"You get Grover out of the way Liz," Thalia orders.

"But I want to fight," I protest.

"Not after what you just been through," she yells.

"I'm fine," I lie to her. I'm still a bit dizzy. It has never lasted this long before.

"I'll help," Percy offers. He throws one of Grover's arm around his neck. I grab his other arm. We pull him to a patio. I pull out my sword. I come up next to Bianca. One of the zombies grab my arm, but I kick it's head off. It goes flying for awhile. Bianca pulls out a hunting knife. She stabs one in the chest. It explodes into a bunch of dust. A loud bang goes off. I let out a scream and run to Percy, who is on the ground. He stands up.

"I thought you got shot," I say.

"The coat blocked the bullet," he says. The trees shake.

"A gift," Grover mutters. A wild boar, thirty feet high, comes towards us. He knocks down three skeletons.

"Spilt up," Percy shouts. We ask go in different directions. It charges at Bianca. But she moves just in time, do it hits the welcome sign. Then it sees Thalia's shield. It squeals and start to charge Thalia, Percy, and I.  We run up a hill and in and out of trees. We come across half buried train tracks.

"This way," Percy yells. He pulls Thalia behind him, and I stayed close to him.

"Come on," Thalia says. She pulls us through a tunnel. We come to the edge of a bridge. The boar comes barreling towards us. Percy tackles us to the side. We use Thalia's shield as a sled. I'm in the front. The boar falls into the gorge with a mighty squeal. We finally stop. We all are cover in cuts.

"Your afraid of heights," Percy says.

"You tell anyone, I'll kill you," Thalia states.

"Hello," Grover shouts.

"Down here," I shout. Soon everyone joins us. Grover starts to talk to the boar. After a little bit, he gets on.

"Come on," he shouts. We all get on the creature. It runs off.

After almost a day riding the wild boar, it finally stops. Grover slides off. We all follow him. The boar runs off. We are in the middle of a desert. Great. We lay out our sleeping bags and start a camp fire. I watch as the flames lick the logs. A limousine pulls up. Ares steps out. Anger boils inside of me.

"Here for a rematch?" I ask him. Percy and Thalia laughs. Grover looks a bit scared, while the hunters don't show any emotion. No shocker there.

"Watch it," he warns. "I only let you live since Clarisse considers you as a friend."

Clarisse actually thinks as me as a friend. Ares gets back on subject.

"The lady wants to speak to you and Percy," he informs me. He opens the door. Percy and I slide in. Sitting across from us is Mom.

"Hi Mom," I say. She smiles and nods. Her image changes into an older version of Annabeth, then to an older version of me.

"Hello my heroes," she says. "I made sure you, Percy, would finish this quest for love."

"I'm confused why you want me," I inform her. Percy is practically drooling over my mom. Gross.

"Because I need to talk to you," she informs me. I nod my head. Ino hops out of my bag and lays in my lap. A bowl of milk appears next to me. Ino leans down and licks the milk. I pet her. Percy exits.

"You have been offered your choice?" She asks me. I nod my head.

"Have you decided?"

"I want to finish training," I inform her.

"You are trained enough," she informs me. "If you do become immortal, you are not allowed to marry him until after the war."

"I will have my mind made up after this quest," I inform her. She nods her head. I pick up Ino and step outside the limo.

"Don't take anything from the junkyard," she warns me. I thank her. Ares gets inside and speeds off. I lay on my sleeping bag and go to sleep.
