Liz and The Titan's Curse

Chapter Six

The angels put us down. It's been years since I've been here.

"What to do next?" I ask.

"I know," Percy says. He tackles a homeless man. They go into the water. I try to act like I don't know him. It's warm out here.

"You look nice," Zoë says. I look down. I'm in a white Sun dress with a brown belt. My shoes are brown sandals. I feel my hair. It's in a side braid. Not again. Percy comes up with the old man. They start talking. I hear a gun get cocked. I turn to see it's the manicore and a bunch of demigods. They are aiming at us. "Come on," the monster says. Two demigods grabs my arms. The others grab my friends. They escape.

"I'm glad you are here," Luke says. "Everyone else but Thalia is disposable."

"Try anything and you're dead," I warn him. I don't think that warning will scare him. I'm tied to a post. He doesn't react. The General laughs.

"Luke," Thalia shouts.

"Just in time," he says. "Kill the creature and join me."

"Yeah right," she says. She throws her spear at him. Percy runs over and cuts the rope. I grab my sword. I swing at Luke. He blocks me.

"I see you still have the sword I have you," he states.

"It doesn't mean anything," I tell him. "I'm just use to it."

I kick him down. He lands with a grunt. The General is pushed under the sky. I notice Zoë is on the ground. She can't die. She is immortal. Artemis picks her up. Percy comes carrying Annabeth. A sled comes. We all hope in. Luke gets up. We start to fly. Luke grabs the edge. Thalia steps on his hands. He falls to the ground motionless. Artemis lands. She lays Zoë on the ground.

"I'm sorry m'lady," Zoë says. "I had to fight my father."

Zoë's eyes close. A tear escapes. Artemis cups her hands at Zoë's face. Her hands fill with a white mist. The mist lifts into the night sky. Stars form her.

"She now will always be in the stars," Artemis states. "My brave lieutenant."

We get in her chariot. It pulls off. In no time, I'm standing in front of the gods. One minute till Thalia's birthday.

"I want to be a Hunter," Thalia says. Artemis and Zeus nods their heads. Thalia and the rest leave. I'm the only one left with the gods.

"You were given your option?" Zeus asks. I nod my head.

"Your decision?" he asks.

"I'm ready," I tell them. They nod and leave. Apollo walks up.

"When you wake up you will be immortal," he says. I nod my head. We lace our fingers together. We walk to his castle. Which is modern style. He leads me to my room.

"Do we," he cuts me off.

"I have to leave you alone for the night," he informs me. I nod my head. He gives me a kiss. I pull away and enter my room. I change into a silk sky blue night gown. Ino comes up to me. I pet her head. I finally drift off to sleep.

I walk down stairs.

"Morning gorgeous," Apollo says. He gives me a kiss. "Zeus wants you to go visit camp."

"Great," I say sarcastically. "I go to the camp immortal."

"You are allowed to see them whenever," he informs me.

"Why?" I ask.

"Your mom's request," he informs me. I nod my head. I imagine a teal shirt, jeans, combat boots, and a gray jacket. I look down. I'm in the clothes. My hair is in a side braid. Apollo grabs my hand. We appear in the camp. Silena gives me a hug.

"You look beautiful," she says. Beckendorf walks up. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.

"Hey," he says. Percy, Annabeth, and Grover run up to me. I give them all a hug.

"I didn't expect you to look like you," Percy states.

"Thanks Seaweed Brain," I state. Mr.D walks up.

"I'll take it one less sarcastic demigod," he says.

"There will always be a sarcastic demigod," I tell him. "I'll see you on Olympus next meeting."

"You are going to be an Olympian?" Annabeth asks.

"Aphrodite and Zeus agreed to that," Apollo says. I look at him. I'm going to be an Olympian.

"What am I the goddess of?" I ask Apollo.

"May I present the goddess of balance," he says.

"Yes," I say sarcastically. "Because I'm great at balancing things in life."

"You are equal in every way," he tells me. "Except you are the most beautiful thing in the world."

I start to blush. Everyone starts to clap.

"I guess this is goodbye," Percy states.

"Not by along shot," I inform him. He laughs. Life is good right now. I wish it will always be like this.
