(Yugi's POV)

I was cleaning my grandpa's study while he was away, when I found a rusty old box with a padlock on it. "What's this?" I wondered. I looked at the part of the padlock where the key goes and noticed that the key my parents left me before they died would fit in it. I took off the necklace with my key on it and unlocked the box. Inside was an Ancient Egyptian jewelry box made of gold. I opened the golden box and saw pieces of an ancient puzzle. I quickly took the golden box and put it on my desk while placing the metal box back.

(A few hours later...)

"Yugi! Did you take my Ancient Egyptian puzzle?!" yelled my grandpa.

"Y-Yeah, G-Grandfather... I, uh, wanted to see if I could solve it..." I said, awaiting his slap as a punishment.

"You're not intelligent enough! But you can try. Just, beware. All the archeologists who found it, excluding me, died after find that Millenium Puzzle. They say it belonged to an Ancient Egyptian pharaoh that ruled Egypt with an iron fist," Grandpa replied.

"R-Really? Thanks, Grandfather!" I said with a smile on my face.

"Yugi, here's your allowance. Now, go make dinner!" Grandpa said handing me ¥600,000.

"Alright, Grandfather!" I replied, beaming.

(After dinner...)

"Grandfather, I'm going upstairs to work on the Millennium Puzzle!" I said running upstairs.

"Alright, but go to bed at a decent time!" Grandpa yelled up to me.

"I will, Grandfather!" I shouted.

I ended up working on the Puzzle until dawn, but I couldn't solve it. Luckily, I didn't have piano practice that day.
