"Hey Cirrah Leigh, hurry up. I'm on my way now. Be there in 5 minutes." It is really obvious that my dear best friend is so excited for the party we're about to attend.
"Okay. Just chill there my dear Kira Tamsin. I just need to put some color on my pale face." I answered as I'm putting some makeup on my face.
My phone is currently on loudspeaker. Hindi ako matatapos sa pag-aayos kung hawak ko ito.
"You can't blame me my dear, we'll meet Sage Clarkson again. Take note, your dream guy." Said Kira as if I do not know that fact. May boyfriend na nga ang gaga kinikilig pa sa iba, nako.
"Whatever Kira. Gonna hang up now. Let's talk later. See you and take care." I said and hurriedly ended the call.
Yes, Sage Clarkson is my ultimate crush and my dream guy since we're in high school. Sounds teenager but who cares? He's still the one until now. Don't get me wrong, I had fair share of boyfriends for the past years it's just that Sage is my one and only crush.
Tonight is our alumni home coming. It'll be held at Clarkson's instead of hotel or such. I just can't wait to meet him tho.
Kira came just on time. It took us at least half an hour to reach Clarkson's. The place is already filled with people, our batchmates. I know most of them because I was once a council of the school.
I roam my eyes around the crowd to look for Sage. I know him and definitely he knows me also. We're both in council way back then. We're sort of close. I saw him on one of the tables near the pool area so, I immediately walk. Kira and I separated when we came in here.
"Hey Cirrah Leigh!" Sage approached me before I could even reach their place with a big smile on his face.
"Clarkson, hey!" I greeted back.
"How are you? It's been a long time." He asked as we hug each other.
"I'm good. Still single so there's no stress. And how about you?" I let out a little laugh as I answer.
"Good also. Well we're both single." Even Sage laugh when he answered and we both know why. Our craziness didn't change.
"If it's not for alumni home coming we would not see each other this soon." We left the table where we are in.
"You're right. We've lost contact to one another." We're having a chat while we are walking. I do not know where are we going.
"Yes. I guess we became a busy person that's why." I stated not knowing what to say anymore.
"And because of that we need to do some catching up but before doing that why don't we eat first?" He offered and lead me to the table in the corner.
After a while, Sage called out for a waiter/maid to serve us. Clarkson is a well-known family inside and outside of the country so what do I expect?
After our foods were served we immediately dig it out. While we are eating tuloy tuloy lang kwentuhan namin about sa buhay namin for the past few years. We literally have catching up.
I'm really happy right now because Sage accompanied me since I got here. I didn't expect him to do so.
Right after we ate, some of our batchmates joined us on the table. We all have a chat, catching up about each other's life after college. It was all fun not until they opened up topic about Sage and I.
"Tell me guys if I am wrong but these two, Clarkson and Meyton will make a good couple, right?" I think my face turned into red right now because I felt the hotness caused by the kilig. The words that were stated earlier was from my great colleague, Elinelle.
