Chapter 2

Cody's POV
I let out a sigh as I eat my apple. After Sasha helped me to bed I slept for the rest of the day.

It's Currently 8 o'clock in the morning I've just been trying to wrap my head around everything that happened I mean Glenn and Abraham... Died they died right in front of me and how Could I.... I just sat there and I watched as They were slaughtered.

I hear the door open and I turn my head to see Sasha with a basket of fruit "I didn't know you were up are you feeling OK." She asked me as she sits the basket down.

I nod my head before taking another bite out of my apple. " where did you go?"

"I went to see if Maggie was OK." She tells and as she does I look up at her.
"And?" I asked say with a small voice. She lets a small smile come to her face.

"She's awake she's... She's at Glenn's grave at the moment...do you want to go see her?" She asks me.
"Yeah I think that I need to see her" I tell her

She nods her head before opening the door back up I take another bite out of my Apple before sitting it on the table and getting up. We make our way through the little sanctuary until we begin to walk past other trailers. I let out a sigh as we come to the graves and that's when I see her down on her knees with her hands on the cross her head bent down looking at the ground. She must be in some deep thought it's hard I can't even imagine losing the person that you love.

"Maggie." I say to her.

she slowly looks up and turns around and her eyes grow wide as she stares at me she then stands up before dusting her hands off getting rid of any dirt that was on her. She left a small smile come to her lips as she walks closer and closer to me before she wraps her arms around me pulling me into a hug. "So glad you're ok....I meant  to come see you earlier but Sasha said you were sleeping so I decided to do this first." She says before pulling away from me.

I shake my head before putting my hand on her arm.
" it's OK I'm so sorry about Glenn, Maggie I'm truly, truly sorry." I say looking at her in the eyes.
"Thank you......Well you're looking better than you were four days ago." She says smiling.

I nod my head with a small smile on my face as well."Yeah apparently I have seen better days but I'm grateful to be standing here right now." I tell her.

She lets out a sigh before raising her hand and rubbing my arm. "I'm grateful that you're alive too we haven't known each other that long but you've become a friend of mine." She says to me.
I let out a chuckle before nodding my head.

" yeah I feel the same way." I say to her.

Sasha Pats my arm and I looked over to see her turning her head behind us I do the same and when I do I see Jesus and Gregory making their way towards us. "Now what does he want?" I hear Sasha asks Her voice filled with Annoyance. I hear Maggie sigh before  giving Sasha a reply. "I guess we're about to find out." She tells her.

Jesus and Gregory stop about two feet away from us. I look at Jesus waiting for him to say something but he keeps his eyes on the ground.

"Jesus what can we do for you?" Maggie asks from besides me. That's when Gregory flaps his arms in the air causing all of us to look at him. He lets out a small sigh before speaking. "Now I don't know if y'all understand how things work around here but usually people ask before just making themselves at home here." He say looking at Maggie then at me.
