"hyung.. are you okay?" jeongin asked, as he saw hyunjin tensing up and smiling awkwardly at the younger. "what? pshhh, yeah, of course im fine. im great. are you okay? why are you asking me if im okay?" hyunjin asked, being the most fucking awkward person he could ever be—
"look, hyung. i know chan already told you guys. im not stupid." he said, taking a sip of his tea.
hyunjin was silent for a while, before he decided to speak up. "look, jeongin.. why didn't you tell your hyungs? why didn't you tell me about everything? about what was going through your head?" hyunjin felt guilty. extremely guilty that he had to put jeongin through all that, that he had to make jeongin sit there and watch from afar when he and seungmin were having the time of their lives.
a smile crept up on jeongins face.
"it's okay, hyung. they're just feelings. i guess i was just jealous i didn't get to have any love and affection, i just thought you guys forgot about me. that's all.
i don't want your sympathy, im doing fine now. ive been going to therapy which is actually helping me a lot, so please don't worry about me and my problems. i promise ill tell you about how im feeling from now on." jeongin smiled his cute little brace smile, which hyunjin adored so much. ".. jeongin, im sorry-"
"don't be sorry hyung. don't be sorry for anything, you deserve someone like seungmin who can keep you happy. i support you and seungmin, you deserve a great guy like him. i love you hyung. and that's why im supporting you with your decisions. don't apologize to me, there's nothing to apologize for." the younger said softly, before looking up at hyunjin. he leaned close to the older male and gave a small peck on hyunjin forehead. "id better get going now. ill see you at school tomorrow, hyung." jeongin gathered all his belongings before walking out of the cafe.
hyunjin began to tear up.
