"Whew, I hope those twins don't start any trouble at the house."
I said, heading for the teal van. It was pretty nice. Flyn and Marianna looked at me through the window, no waves, no smiles, nothing, they just stared at me. I smiled and waved. I was sure they were sad about something that I didn't know about. I hopped in the van and started driving (I also of course, shut the door and put on my seatbelt). I put "Sweet Home Alabama" on the radio. Once I arrived at the grocery store, I looked for the cookie dough. One of my friends (Lincoln) said,
"Wassup, Melissa. How's the babysittin' going?"
" It's....fine...But they're so..... Sad.. "
"Oh, I bet they're just nervous."
I nodded, hoping that. I didn't wanna babysit droopey kids for a whole week. I'll have to make them happy (Not literally forcing them, though). He started walking away until I said,
"Wait."
He turned to me and stopped, "Yeah?"
" Um, have you happen to know where the...cookie dough is? "
"Oh, yeah. Oh, I don't know," He pointed at a worker, "Ask one of them."I turned to where we was pointing and nodded while smiling, "Thanks..."
He nodded and walked off, pushing his carton of food with him. I walked up to the worker. He looked at me and mumbled, "Hello. How many I help you?"
" Where's the cookie dough? "
He looked up, "Just follow me."
" Okay. "
I followed him to the baking supplies. I looked around.
"I think I can take it from here. Thank you; Bye, sir."
" You're welcome, ma'am. By the way, I'm Sid. "He walked away. Boy, had I known he was a MURDERER!(At least I thought).
I glanced at him and he was grabbing a pocket knife! I gasped and hid behind the shelf of baking supplies and I breathed as soft as I could. Not very quiet. He came closer and closer to me. I jumped out and tried to tackle him. He yelled,
" YO, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! "
I let go of him and backed away, panting. He looked at his pocket knife and frowned.
"Dude, what is wrong with you? I was about to cut that box open. Chill...." He said.
" ..I-I'm ..sorry.. I thought y-"
He interrupted me and said, " You thought I was gonna murder you? "
"..Yeah, I should go..." I said as I turned and walked swiftly away, grabbing the bag of cookie dough. He tried to talk to me in coming back as I was walking away. I bought the cookie dough and walked out the front doors. I went back into the teal van, put "Sweet Home Alabama" and drove back to their house.
"...So much drama..." I mumbled, opening the car door.
