30: Friday Movie Night

The week went by in a flash and soon enough, it was already Friday. My mind raced with so many worries as me and Dark watched a movie "Are we going somewhere fancy? I don't have a dress! Or maybe we'll just stay here and chill...? Oh what if he canceled and I had no idea?!"

"Y/N!" I snapped out of my internal spiral at the sound of Dark's voice, I turned my head and saw him staring "Yeah?" He frowned "I noticed you stopped paying attention to the movie, are you okay?" I looked at the TV and saw that the was pause, and was already 3/4 done?! "Oh. I'm sorry Darky, I guess... I kinda got bored..." I didn't want to tell him that I was thinking about my date tomorrow the whole time we were supposed to be hanging out

"Hmm... Then how about I change the movie to something you'll love?" Dark stood up from the couch and went over to the DVD player and put in a disc that I couldn't really see. He came back to the couch, looking at me expectantly, I looked back at the screen and my eyes widened. Hugging my blanket tighter around me and snuggling up to Dark as close as physically possible, I watched as he played the Chucky Saga

**Timeskip**

By the third movie I was practically in Dark's lap, so when the doorbell rang, me hitting Dark in the eye was inevitable "Oh my God, oh my God! Dark I am so sorry!!" I turned so I was facing Dark and tried to see the damage I'd caused. Busy worrying about Dark, who was holding his left eye in pain, I didn't notice that someone had come in "Hey"

"AAAAHH!!" I hugged Dark as I looked in the direction of whoever was in my house, it was Ash. Dark paused the movie as I let out a sigh of relief "Heh, hey Dark," Ash waved, Dark nodded in response "Y/N, I thought you told me to come here for something?"

I rapidly nodded and waved her over "Yeah, yeah, yeah! Come here! I need more protection!" I saw Ash role her eyes before sitting next to Dark and me, who was still on his lap, and wrapping part of the blanket around her. Once everyone was comfortable, Dark played the movie again. Since I was still facing Dark, I had to turn my head just to look at the TV, but that's okay, easier to hide my face once something scary would happen

Around the fifth movie, I noticed that Ash had fallen asleep. Not against Dark, sadly; she was curled up with her head opposite to us. I wanted us to look like those platonic but super close friends  who could just sleep together, but I guess that could only exist in fanart...

I peaked up at Dark and noticed that he was still awake and watching the movie, I looked back at the screen but immediately hid my face in his chest. Bad timing! I nuzzled against Dark as I felt sleep take over. I didn't get to talk to Ash about my date tomorrow, but today was still great
