"That was amazing!" I say as I lay next to him.
"Yeah," he says and wraps his arms around me and places his head into the crook of my neck. We lay there for a while, enjoying each others warm embrace.

I left Tom's house over an hour ago and we exchanged numbers. I took the bus to my street and when I walked towards my house I saw Luna sitting on the front stairs crying.
She had a bruise around her eye and there was a little scar on her cheek and it was bleeding. I asked her what had happened but she hasn't spoken to me yet, I've just been letting her cry it out.
We're currently sitting on my bed, her head is on my lap and I'm comforting her. "It'll be alright, just cry it out Luna," I coo.
Her breathing got slower and I could tell that she had just cried herself till she slept.
I crept out of the bed and went to take a shower. "I can't believe I just slept with a random guy" I think to myself while smiling like a weirdo in the shower. I need to remember to tell Raven about this she'll laugh and ask so many questions.
While in the shower, I think of Tom and the way his hands explored my body. I had never been with someone like him, he knew exactly how to touch me and how to kiss me. I feel my body begin to get tingles all over as I think of the moment we had just had together.
"Don't get horny Orabelle - don't get horny, your friend is in the other room. Don't be weird! " I mentally yell at myself.
I soon get out the shower and look at Luna while she sleeps on the bed. She doesn't look okay, when she wakes up I need to give her an ice pack for her eye. My poor girl, I can't shake the feeling that this was a family member and that she is hurt a lot more under her clothes. This just breaks my heart.

"Hey baby girl, I made you some food." I say to her, bringing in a small bowl of chicken salad. I set it down in front of her and watched her as she began to eat.
I lay back on my bed looking up at the ceiling, I was waiting for her to finish eating. When she was done she lay back as well. "What happened Luna?" I decide to ask her.
"It's a long story." She says with a sigh.
"You know I've got time." I say, turning my head to the side to face her. She did the same and she began her story.
"Okay, so before I was born, my parents did a lot of shady illegal dealings. When I was born 19 years ago they decided to stop their criminal ways. They said they had to be an example to me.
Around the time I was seventeen I noticed my dad always sneaking off at night. Sometimes he'd come back a little bruised and I always questioned him because he was an accountant.
I remember that night, my parents were arguing over whether they should tell me or not. My mother was saying I'm ready to know, but my dad disagreed.
The next day I bunked school while they were both at work and decided to look around my dads study. I found a secret door. Inside, was like something from a movie, there were weapons plastered to the wall. And in the middle was a ceiling high vault that was left slightly ajar that contained more money than I'd ever seen in my life.
Now this is my dad, so I didn't want to assume the worst - just yet. But as I continued to walk around I found an album of newspaper clippings on different heists all over the world.
When I turned around to leave, my dad was standing by the door. I asked him to explain everything. He said no he had to wait until my mom got back. I was stressing and he was trying to calm me down, telling me that I shouldn't judge him just yet. " She pauses, then turns to get a sip of juice. I just lay on my bed still processing everything she'd just shared.
"This is heavy." I say scratching my head.
"It only gets heavier." She sighs before beginning again. "So, my mom came back and she and my dad explained that they were some of the notorious criminals in the world. That's how we were able to afford this lavish lifestyle. It took a really hard time to digest everything they had said. I didn't speak to them for months and refused to use anything that involved their dirty money. But after a while I ended up in hospital because I was losing weight. This is was also around the time I was depressed. I don't want to blame them for my depression but at the same time it's all their fault." She lightly chuckled.
"I gradually got better. After counseling, love, support and all. I'm glad I got better to be honest because I was in such a bad space. I hated them. They were...are criminals. I couldn't even stand to look at them at one point. You have no idea, what it's like to wake up and realize that the people who've raised you your whole life aren't who you thought they were. Like, I knew they were still my parents but they'd always raised me to never steal, to always tell the truth and shit and then they turn around and tell me they used to do all this!" She scoffed. She slowly begins to sit up touching her ribs where I'm assuming she has further injuries.
"So fast forward to this morning. I was getting up about to have a normal day. When a bunch of men barged in to the house. They were looking for my parents, I have no clue why but I know it has something to do with their criminal activities.
My parents told me they were going on a business trip yesterday. I honestly didn't know where they were and I still don't. And I tried to tell the men that, but they thought I was lying. So they just kept beating and beating me until I told them the truth - I made up some lie about them landing at the airport at 5pm. When they were distracted I ran and came here, I knew they were following me but I heard them stop after a while. I'd never been so scared in my life Ora." She said, now tears running down her face again.
"I'm so glad you're okay." I say with tears stinging my eyes, at the thought of her being in pain right now. "Do you want to go to the hospital?"
"No, let me just call my family doctor to come over here."
"Um alright." I say, unsure.
After a few minutes of Luna being on the phone, she informed me that Dr Haynes was on the way. We waited for no less than fifteen minutes and he was there. I went to go let him in downstairs and led him up to my room.
Luna had to remove her clothes and her body was so badly bruised and beaten I had to turn away. I covered my mouth and a few tears ran down my cheeks. I went into the bathroom and could hear he groaning in pain as she moved.
I heard a knock on the bathroom door after twenty minutes. "Yes" I respond softly and walk out.
"She'll be alright, she just needs to limit her movement, eat right, drink lots of water and get a lot of rest and she'll be alright in no time. I've left some extra bandages, she'll need to change her bandages when they become too bloody. I'll check on her again next week to see how she's doing, here are some pain tablets - please make sure she takes them three times a day."
"Alright, thank you so much doc" I reply to him.
"Its no problem. Alright I'll be on my way now, call if there's any trouble. " he says. I accompany him down the stairs and lead him out the house and give a final wave goodbye. I head back up the stairs quickly.
Upon entering my room I see Luna laying on her back fast asleep. She looks so peaceful but also in a lot of pain. I hate to see her this way. Tears begin to form in my eyes again as I sit on the edge of my bed and just cry.
I'm not even sure why I'm crying, I wasn't hurt - but it felt as though I could feel every scar that was gnashed into her skin. Every bruise that was punched and kicked into her skin and all the hurt that was etched into her heart.
How could someone do this to another human being?
