I carried the last box out of my room. I walked down the stairs. I walked out the front door. I loaded the box into the trunk. We are moving away from our peaceful little town called Autumn Woods. We are moving to a town on the beach. It is called Shady Shore. My mom and I got in the car. I started my music on my phone. It was a two hour drive. When we were about halfway there, we stopped at a gas station. My mom handed me 5 bucks. "Get whatever you want." she said. I got Pringles and water. I gave my mom the change and hopped into the passenger seat. We arrived and hour later. We drove into the new town. I looked around. People were everywhere! The sidewalks were filled with people. The streets were lined with shops. We drove for like two more minutes and turned onto a street. We stopped in front of a big house. It was bright blue. "I'll start bringing in the boxes. You can go check the house out first." my mom said. She handed me the key. I unlocked the door. I walked in. The walls were a light green color. The floor was shiny wood. My mom walked in with some boxes. "You can look upstairs and pick your bedroom. Any one you want." she said. I walked up the stairs. I checked each and every single room and came to one at the end. I loved it! It had a Gigantic balcony overlooking the beach. I ran back down the stairs and to the car. I got some of my boxes of stuff. I ran back up the stairs. I set my boxes on the floor of my bedroom. I opened one of the boxes. I pulled out my favorite sweatshirt and a hanger. I put the sweatshirt on the hanger. I walked over to my closet. I opened the closet door and hung it up. A few minutes later, the moving truck arrived outside. The movers brought in a bunch of stuff, including my bed. My mom said that I could paint my room sometime. I got my desk and my dresser moved in. My nightstand got put next to my bed. I pulled out a bunch of photos of my friends and I back home. I also stuck my lamp on the dresser. My mom came into my room. "You can go check out the beach. Just go through the backyard." she said. I ran down the stairs and out the back door. I ran across my backyard. I opened the gate and followed the path to the beach. There were people in the water, and sunbathing on the shore. I walked along the shore for a little while, and then I turned around and started to head back. I was staring at the waves, and I crashed into another girl. "Oof." I said as I landed on my butt. "Sorry!" I said. She had black hair neatly combed back to the side. She had blue eyes. I stood up, and offered a hand to her. She took it. "Thanks....." she muttered. She ran off. What a strange girl.
