Chapter 9: A Conflicting Situation

Tamaki's POV

We had just got back from a long walk around the neighborhood and my legs were killing me "Kyoya my legs hurt" I whined as we had finally arrived at the front of the house

"Oh really, I didn't know I gave you that much of a work out." He had said in such a teasing way, I could feel the heat of embarrassment rush to my face

"Wait I didn't- that's not..."I stubbled with my words trying to process what to say back

"*giggle* I know I'm just teasing...daddy" I couldn't tell if he was trying to seduce me or tease me or both but he had opened the door and we both walked inside. I was about to clear my throat when I hear two people arguing

"...so and you're trying to tell me that he cares about any of you. Look at me Kaoru...*whispers*"

"He's my brother but our love and affection was always just a game of pity for him."

It was Kaoru and Megumi they were talking about Hikaru and in such a tragic way I couldn't help but freeze up, until Kyoya showed me a text that kasanoda and Haruhi found Hikaru and that he had sent some kind of video. I sighed to myself then cleared my throat and stepped out of the corner we were hiding in "Ummm so we found him." We had made eye contact with both of them Kaoru had a surprise and yet regretful look while Megumi had this look of dismissal like she couldn't care less but there was a dangerous glimmer in her eyes. Kyoya seemed to have noticed in a way to where his aura became a cold and dangerous one something I had never felt, it gave me fearful shivers.

"That's wonderful to hear! Who found him was it Honey and Mori senpai!!" Kaoru burst into excitement and relief before I could say anything Kyoya answered him plainly

"No, he's with Haruhi and Kasanoda." After that Kaoru's expression turned into dark and disappointing look

"Oh I see...well is he okay"

"I don't know yet but I will keep you both updated, unless you want to go there now."

"Oh umm no. I don't think he'll want to see me just yet, please do keep me updated, I'll take Megumi home I'll be right back." His voice shaked in such unease like he was about to break but I couldn't tell if it was pain or anger. He had called a chauffeur and was out the door. I look over to Kyoya he seemed to have kept an eye on Megumi for some reason

"Kyoya...?" I tugged at his shirt with some concern and the dangerous aura he had faded when we made eye contact he grabbed my hands and kissed my forehead.

"It's nothing to be worried about my love I assure you." He spoke soothingly as he caressed my face.

"Okay I trust you"

Meanwhile at the Kasanoda Syndicate
Hikaru POV

When we had arrived I was a bit surprised for a second when I saw all of Kasanoda's men lined up bowing, biding a 'welcome back home young lord and friends' I couldn't believe that they did the same thing most maids and servants did for us "Well now isn't this a warm welcome Kasanoda" I said teasingly

"Uh yes well umm...Tetsuya can you show Hikaru to a room and get him fixed up." He said sheepishly.

I patted him on the shoulder "*giggle* hey I'm just teasing" I said before following Tetsuya to an empty room
