Ruby Riott was impatiently waiting to get into the trainers room to see Liv. Ruby was starting to lose her temper, "Why can't I go in and check on her yet? I'm worried about her Sarah." The doctors and the trainers had told Ruby and Sarah to wait until they had checked to see if Liv had a concussion but it was becoming more difficult to keep a worried Ruby from barging into the trainers room, "Ruby, She's going to be fine I promise. The doctors are going to take care of her. Just give it a little more time."

Sarah knew why Ruby was acting the way she was, Ruby instantly developed a crush on Liv when the Riot Squad formed. Ruby was a pretty protective person but she was extra protective when it came to Liv. Sarah was about to try for the hundredth time to get Ruby to tell Liv how she feels, "Ruby, why don't you.." Sarah stopped mid sentence as she saw the Bella Twins walking towards them. Ruby turned around to see who Sarah was staring at and the anger she had at Brie and her stupid sister surfaced. Sarah already knew what was about to go down so she grabbed Ruby and held her back.

Sarah wanted nothing more than to let Ruby run wild but Sarah knew whatever happened they would get all the blame so she held Ruby back for the sake of all of them. That didn't stop Ruby from trying to kick free from Sarah and yelling at Brie, "What the hell do you want? You stiffed me in the face and knocked Liv unconscious. Did you come back to kick Sarah in the head to?" Brie looked like she was truly sorry for what happened but that didn't do anything to fix the problems she caused.

If Ruby was thinking rationally she would have known that accidents happen in the ring all the time but when it came to Liv getting hurt, she just couldn't control her emotions right now. Brie was looking down at the floor, "I wanted to come check on Liv and apologize. I didn't mean to kick her like that or stiff you Ruby. I'm sorry. I really am."

Ruby knew she should take a breath and think about things but she didn't, "Oh you're sorry. You're sorry? If I find out you hurt My Liv, you're going to be sorry. You two should have stayed gone. This division doesn't need you. You need this division."

Ruby realized she had said my Liv and it looks like the others did to. A dirty smirk spread across Nikki's face, "Oh I get it now, Ruby's a lesbian and she wants in Liv's pants. That's why she's so huffy and puffy." A blush began to creep up against Ruby's pale skin, "Shut up Nikki. I do not. I just really care about her." It was too late though, Nikki was off to gossip and shit talk about Ruby.

Brie stayed behind looking rather nervous. She was trying to find any words to say when the door to the trainers room opened and out came one of the doctors. The doctor started to explain how Liv was doing, "She doesn't have a concussion but her face is slightly swollen and she will probably have headaches for a few weeks. I would only go in one at a time because she is still in a lot of pain right now so take it slow." That was all Ruby had to hear before she was already into the trainers room and shutting the door.

Liv was laying on a cot laying on an ice pack, watching what sounded like cartoons on her phone. Liv hadn't noticed Ruby yet so Ruby took the time to look at Liv. Her face was swollen and it looked to seem as if she had been crying. Just the thought of Liv crying made Ruby want to go back out the door and punch Brie in the head but she didn't. Liv went to rub her eye but must have underestimated how tender it was because Ruby heard a soft whimper and seen more tears fall. Ruby raced to Liv's side.

"Liv, Hun I'm here. I'm here." Liv sat up but was still really dizzy and her head was killing her. She just wanted to go back to their hotel and watch cartoons with Ruby. "Ruby can we go back to the hotel. My head hurts and I just want to leave." Ruby stood in front of Liv and held the ice pack on the side of her face, "I'm sorry Liv. We still have to wait until the doctor and trainer come back, but we will as soon as we can." Ruby softly cupped Liv's face so she could the damage up close, she was bruised all over her face, and blood vessels had been popped under her right eye. Liv went to rub her eye one again and as soon as she made contact she hissed from the pain as a few more tears fell. Her lip trembled as she was trying not to cry in front of Ruby.

Ruby was furious once again, "I'm going to beat the hell out of them both. Look at what Brie did to you. We'll see how well she can kick with a broken leg." Through her tirade, Ruby noticed Liv smiling.

"What are you smiling about. You're not pissed at them?"
"Of course I am but I love seeing you get so protective over me. It makes me happy."
Ruby blushed again, she was talking barley above a whisper,"I would do anything for you Liv." Ruby picked up the ice pack once again but this time made her way in between Liv's legs and gently placed the ice pack to her cheek. Ruby stood on her tip toes to gently place a kiss on Liv's forehead. Before she thought about the consequences, Ruby gently cupped Liv's face but this time she kissed her on the lips. It was everything Ruby thought about. Liv's lips were soft and Ruby was very gentle but before Liv could respond, it was over.

Ruby realized what she did and tried to back away but Liv grabbed Ruby's wrist before she could back away, "Ruby, it's okay. Please don't back away." Ruby stayed put but she wouldn't look at Liv in the eyes. Liv gently placed a hand under Ruby's chin and guided her chin upwards, "How long?"
Ruby was trying not to fidget from being nervous, "I don't know what you mean?"
Liv brushed some hair behind Ruby's ear, "How long have you liked me?" Ruby was trying to find any way to not tell Liv because she was scared it would change things but she didn't really see a way out of this. Ruby sighed, "Shortly after we formed the squad. You were so care free and wild. You were always happy and you're not afraid to be yourself. I've been afraid to tell you because I was scared and I didn't want to tell you tonight because I wanted to focus on taking care of you. I didn't mean to kiss you. I just couldn't..." Her rambling was cut short by Liv's lips.

Ruby was shocked for a second but had no problem in kissing back. Finally they had to break for air and Liv gingerly rested her head against Ruby's, "I've been waiting for months for you to make a move. I planned on asking you months ago but when I ran it past Sarah she told me to wait. She didn't tell me why but she told me something was very important to you that you had to do and to wait for now. I eventually figured it out and have been waiting for you. I want to be with you Ruby. You make me happy and no one cares for me like you do. I know you've been outside of that door waiting to see if I was okay."

Ruby was speechless. She had no idea that Liv felt this way. She was overjoyed, Ruby began to kiss Liv. Ruby was gentle so she didn't hurt Liv but the two continued to kiss until they had to break apart. Ruby gently ran her thumb across Liv's swollen cheek, "Please be with me."
Liv didn't even have to think about what she said next, "Forever."

The Doctor finally came back in with Sarah and Brie behind her. Sarah had a big grin on her face because Ruby was still in between Liv's legs rubbing her swollen cheek when they walked in. The doctor spoke, "Liv, you are free to go. Be careful and try not to do to much the next couple days." The doctor looked at Ruby, assuming they had been together for awhile, "Make sure she actually takes it easy, and that means no, you no what for a few days." Ruby was blushing like a tomato while Sarah was giggling like it was the funniest thing she had ever heard.

Before anything else could be said. Ruby picked up Liv bridal style from the cot and started to walk out the door, "I'm taking you back to the hotel to take care of you. We're going to cuddle and watch cartoons." She looked back at the others, "And that's all we're doing."
Liv laid her head on Ruby's chest, "Sounds good to me Ruby. I pick the cartoon though."
Ruby had the biggest smile on her face, she wouldn't have it any other way.
