Why Kacchako/Bakuraka Is Actually An Amazing Ship 1(?)

There's more to Kacchako than what meets the eye. People just see it as a ship with zero potential because of the limited interaction, but that's far from the case.

Even if this ship does have very little interactions, what interaction they DO have makes their relationship so interesting!

This will be mainly centered around the events that occurred in Season 2, Episode 9

For one, Bakugou is one of the only people who truly recognizes Uraraka's capabilities.

He called her Pink Cheeks (or Angelface/Roundface in the manga) before their battle began. He also said he wouldn't hold back and that she should give up.

She declined and they battled anyway. During the battle, Bakugou realized that she isn't as easy to defeat as he'd thought and calls her by her last name out of respect.

Although he did end up winning the match, from his expression, he seemed pretty amazed at how great of a job Uraraka did, but also slightly disappointed at how short the match was.

Bakugou is not the kind of person you'd think would defend someone, but surprisingly, he defended her when Kaminari called her fragile/frail, while pretty much everyone else acted like she was.

At the sports festival, nearly everyone doubted her. Even Midoriya of all people doubted her, given that he wouldn't have expected her to rely on his little journal if he didn't.

People actually call this ship "abusive" because of their fight. Yeah, okay. Just gonna leave this here.

Do you people actually think Bakugou is stupid? He KNOWS what she's capable of

I'm glad Aizawa sat the record straight and shut everyone up. People really need to stop treating Uraraka like she's a pitiful weak little rag doll because she's quite the opposite, actually.

This isn't a one time thing where he recognizes her capabilities. This also occurs in the most recent special.

This ship breaks cliche barriers, and that's one of the many things I (along with various other Kacchako fans) really admire about this ship

That isn't the only thing.

They both originally avoided socially interacting with each other because of Midoriya. But since the fight, they speak normally with each other. Not as much, but it still occurs.

Also, their fight actually helped her out in the long run and gave her proper development

This is big for Uraraka since she's not that relevant when it comes to Midoriya

This is big for Uraraka since she's not that relevant when it comes to Midoriya. She never really learns much from him and her crush on him is completely underdeveloped.

(This is coming from someone who also ships IzuOcha. Just because I like the ship, doesn't mean I completely disregard the flaws.)

Soooo yeah. That's all I have. At least, right now. I may make another part to this someday.
