the ringing of a bell is heard to signal that school has ended. Yoongi's hand grasped onto the strap of his black Jansport backpack and he slipped it onto his shoulder as he got up from his green colored plastic chair.

The clicks of his shoes on the pale tile were no longer heard because the sound of chattering from the students surrounding him clogged the noise.

Summer is finally here. thought Yoongi. His smile was in his heart and not on his lips.

The mop of brown hair had made it to the bus and sat himself next to his friend.

This friend had brown hair as well, but it was straight and long. She was dressed in a pair of denim jeans and a white body suit with a leather jacket. Her ears were acquainted with small hoop earrings, bigger than the ones Yoongi always wore. Her shoes were some black and white checkered slip on vans.

Yoongi's friend had been looking out the small window of the mustard colored bus until she felt the spot beside her sink down.

"Hey Jennie." Yoongi greeted her casually, setting his backpack next to hers on the black colored floor. Jennie had one class with Yoongi, which was meteorology, and they didn't even sit together in that class. the only time they got to hang out in school hours now was lunch.

"Yoongi, hi." She smiled. Her gums showed like his, but she had a more box time smile, while his was more of a rectangle.

Her smile seemed to reach her eyes and Yoongi couldn't help but send her one back.

"I'm so happy today is the last day of school. cus that means we'll be able to hang out more." said Jennie, who had her hands between her legs and her shoulders to her chin.

Yoongi nodded, his smile fading but not fully leaving his rosy lips. "Yeah. You should come over tonight." He said, knowing his mom loved Jennie and would be more than happy to have her over.

Yoongi and Jennie had agreed on something since their second year of being friends.

They would never date each other. Yes, many people assumed and gossiped that they were dating but they agreed that if they ever started to like each other, they'd push those feeling away. They wanted to do this so they wouldn't damage their healthy friendship.

"Seeya." Waved Yoongi, grabbing his coal colored backpack as he said a farewell to his best friend.

The brunette followed a line of people out of the bus, some mumbling a "thank you" to the old bus driver.

With that, Yoongi made his way home with a small smile on his lips. This time, he could hear the tapping of his converse of the concrete. But that tapping stopped when he saw something, making him freeze in place.

A U-Haul was parked outside of his home, and familiar people were shoving brown boxes into the storage trunk.

How come they didn't tell him about this? His mother did not mention once of a move.

So he made his way closer to his home, and the closer he got the more he could see his mother. And then he saw his brother, packing more boxes into the truck.

"Mom? Hyung? What's going on?" Yoongi asked, following his mother who had just put yet another box into the trunk.

"We're moving, Yoongi." His mother stated the obvious as she wiped her forehead of sweat, letting out an exhausted breath before landing her hands on her hips.

Yoongi rolled his eyes. "You never mentioned anything to me about a move." informed Yoongi. "Surprise?" His mother said, a guilty smile forming on her lips and she lifted her shoulders with her hands.
