"You look a lot better, Vi." I brushed a lock of hair out of his face and kissed him on the nose. "I'm sorry I hurt you so much, I was getting angry."
"I'm sorry I made you angry, I was being stupid, I don't know why I would want anything other than to rule the world with you, Shadow..."
"What about the others?" I asked.
He looked confused.
"I mean, Red, Blue, Green, them."
"What about them? I don't want anything to do with them, I'll kill them if I ever see them again."
I loved him impossibly more like this. "Even Green?"
"Especially Green, I'll leave him looking three times as worse as last time." He pushed himself closer to me. "Him and his stupid princess can burn with Hyrule." He spat it all out like it left a bad taste in his mouth. "Blue and Red mean nothing to me, the--"
I sighed and claimed his lips, all soft and warm, effectively cutting him off. "You're so perfect now," I murmured. I wrapped my arms around him tightly, needing him as close as possible. Loved him, I loved this.
He didn't seem to enjoy it at all, squirming in my grip. I bit his bottom lip and he tried to pull away. I wasn't about to stop. I sucked on his upper lip until he apparently decided I had no intentions of stopping and gave me a small moan. I held him close to me, peppering his neck with kisses, but he didn't like that either and the moan he gave me sounded forced.
"Oh, come on, Vio, doesn't that feel good?"
He shook his head.
"Aw, you love it though, don't you?"
I didn't understand, he liked it before, why was he being so stubborn now, why wouldn't he just--
He kept trying to pry himself out of my arms. I didn't let go and just laid down, resting my head on his chest.
"I love you, Vi..."
He didn't say anything else, and I could feel his discomfort.
But I pushed it all out of my mind in an attempt to focus on my Vio, my hero of light that I loved too much.

Red had been totally find one minute, than he totally lost it. He kept talking to himself, saying things like "no, leave me alone," "stop it," and eventually, I heard him swear which was so unlike him that me and Blue had ended up drawing our swords.
"Red!" I shouted.
Blue was the first to lower his sword when Red didn't respond to us, instead just falling to his knees, hands over his ears. "Red! Snap out of it!"
"...Shut up..."
Eventually he quieted down, he went silent and his arms dropped.
"Red?"
He took slow, deep breaths and got to his feet.
"What the heck was that, Red?!" Blue Shouted, trying to hide his worry.
Maybe he hadn't noticed Red's skin turn into a pale grayish color.
"Red?" I tried again.
He looked up at me but said nothing.
And then he stabbed Blue.
