One day, without Mr. and Mrs. Park knowing, Jung Soo went to school early and headed to her locker as fast as she could so no one would see her. Only a few saw her, but then moved on. When she opened her locker, she felt a tiny drop of cold wet tear rolling down her right hot cheek slowly as if it wanted to be seen by everyone before it fell. She then wiped it off really quickly before the first bell rang. On the corner of her eye she saw that Shin was running towards her so she grabbed her books quickly and then was about to close her locker but her friend was there first.
"Where are you going so fast Jung Soo and why are you here so early?" Shin asked with a worried expression on her face.
"Oh...uh..I was ready to close my locker when you came." replied Jung Soo. She then closed her locker and left for class. Leaving Shin confused as to had happen. When it was time for lunch she was walking to the side of the lunchroom to get to the sparkly fountain near some tables and sat there. She heard people making fun of her AGAIN. So she went to her "lonely corner", which was behind the water fountain, when she heard footsteps walking slowly towards her. She turned around and saw someone unexpected... her crush...
"H-hey" she waved shyly.
"Hey Jung Soo, I was wondering, since you are eating alone right now, may I join you?" asked Philips.
"S-sure, why not..." whispering the last part to herself. I haven't had company in awhile. Why would Philips be here with me if he knows that people are talking about me? Is he here to make fun of me also? Thoughts are inside her head and she wants answers right now. How long will lunch last? I need to go home and sleep in my perfect built-up bed.
~Time Skip to home~
When Jung Soo got home, she went to her room just to find her mom in her room standing there with a questioned look on her face. She was walking slowly to her bed until her mom asked "why did you go to school early?"
"Mom, I was just going to school early because... I had to help my teacher with some work that she asked me to help her with."
Mrs. Park wasn't convinced that much. She then nodded her head meaning 'ok' and telling her it was ok to move on. Jung Soo was doing her homework and chores, after that. The time was passing by and it became dark outside. It was 10:00 pm at night when mostly everyone was sleeping. The only person who was awake at this hour was Jung Soo. She slowly got out her bed, making her way down stairs into the kitchen and opening a drawer and taking out a knife. She felt a tear rolling down her left cheek and then her right cheek. After that, Jung Soo pointed the knife at her left arm to her wrist. Making a straight horizontal line across her left wrist, she was crying not by the pain on her wrist but by the pain of her life and the 'errors' she made on believing people and listening to their comments of her. Blood was dripping slowly off her wrist and making its way to the floor. All that blood was hot, redder than ever, and had pure sadness in it. She then took a napkin and wiped the floor to leave no evidence of what she did, but she brought the bloody knife to her room and hid it under her bed where no one could find it. She got to her bed and started crying silently trying to make herself go to sleep. The good news was that the next day was Saturday and there was no school. But did she really go to sleep or was there something more to it?
