The Hunt Begins

Location: Jasper, KO Drive Inn

(Tessa's POV)

It was honestly a quiet night with Jack. I was hanging out with him at his work, since I am visiting, I like to spend time with him. He's basically one of the few people that I became close with after my mom died, and when my dad started too invent useless crap for a living after his old job let him go, now we have to steal power from the pole. I would move in with my Aunt June but who would take care of my dad? Or who would tell him to eat when he forgets too?

"PSSSSSSST! Tessaaaaaa." Jack tried to get my attention.

"What Jac-" As I looked at him, he stuck two french fries in his nostrils and swung them around.

I snorted as I laughed, instantly covering my mouth. He started laughing at me.

"Oh, shut it Jack." I told him, pulling the French fries out of his nose and putting them in the nearest trashcan.

"So, besides sticking french fries up my nose, how's the whole College search going?" Jack asked, wiping off the counter.

"Um. Not so good. Haven't heard anything back from anyone. Hopefully when I go back home I'll get a letter and see how I did for Washington State." I played with the straw that was in my cup, "And hopefully they accept me for Huntington University. Now that would be a miracle." I chuckled too myself, "I just really want to get out of Texas ya know? It's the same thing. Go to school, come home, repeat... Oh, and let's not forget bringing the neighbors junk into my dad's workshop to make more usless junk."

Jack gasped, "Good thing your dad isn't here," He teased, "he wouldn't want to hear the J word from you. But yeah, Texas is kinda like Jasper I guess, being the Entertainment Capital of the world it is known f-"

My phone started to buzz, 'Stars are only visible in darkness, fear is ever changing and evolving. And I-' I grabbed my phone out of my pocket.

"One second."

I read who was calling.

It was Shane. I smiled.  I swung around the chair and landed in my feet. "Um, Jack." I pointed to my phone.

"OoooooooOooo! It's you're boyfriend." Jack made a kissy face. He was the only one I told Shane about, I know I can trust him to keep this on the d.l because he's really good at keeping secrets.

"I need to take this." I walked to the door.

"See you." He waved at me, knowing I was leaving for the night.

"Okay, I'll see you back at the house." I smiled, closing the door behind me, and answered the phone. "Hey babe."

(Arcee's POV)

"Arcee, what is your position?" Optimus questioned.

"I'm in the town Jasper, I'm gonna lose them in a alley way." I quickly turned into the Alley, making a left. I smirked to myself as I lost them. Turning my headlights on as the sun just set.

"Bumblebee, Bulkhead and I are on our way, Arcee." Elita's voice said.

"You guys don't need to, I just lost them-UH!." I ran into a police car, causing myself too knock into a dumpster.

"Scrap." I read the police cars lettering.

"Scratch that. Barricade just showed up." I transformed and got on my feet.

(Barricades POV)

"Master, I have my optics on the motorcycle."

"Excellent."

I turned off my siren and transformed, looking at the one called, Arcee as she transformed as well, walking closer to her.

"Barricade, what a surprise." Arcee got into battle position.

"Hardly a surprise to see you though."

Lights beamed from the sky. A ship came over head, as I was looking up, I heard the sound of Transformation. I look back to Arcee and see that she's already retreated.

I growled in anger, about to transform when someone stopped me.

"Stand aside, Barricade. Arcee, is mine."

(Elita One's POV)

"Arcee, what is happening? There's a giant ship closing on your position." Good thing it's night, because the Humans are asleep at this time.

"There's a ship? Frag! This isn't my day." She sighed, "I don't know why this is happening but I'm going to try to hide. Meet me at that Human fuel stop."

"You mean KO Drive Inn?" I questioned.

"Yes." She said.

"Okay. We'll meet you there." I patched the com link to Bulkheads and Bumblebees.

"Here's the plan boys, we're meeting Arcee at a place called KO Drive Inn. It's very easy to spot." I passed by a human girl as I zoomed into the towns center.

"Roger that Elita." Bumblebee said, passing me and speeding to the rendezvous point.
