Chapter 1 the creatures and the island

Long time ago on an unknown island a dragon lives in a Desert inside a temple. The dragons family also lives on the island. Each controlling one element; Fire,water, and darkness. One day a man traveled to the island and killed one of the dragons. The one that controls the element of darkness. He sits down for a few minutes until he sees a green glow coming from his mouth and eyes. He takes his sword and cuts it open to find a green glowing stone right where the heart would be. He grabbed it and sat down staring at it. He kept on staring at it for hours his mind turns blank and he could think of nothing but the stone. He spent days with it not realizing the changes he was going through. He turned greedy and kept it with him no matter where he went. His teeth slowly starts growing sharper and his eyes turned into cat like eyes and glowed green. His skin started melting and slowly while the stone wrapped his body with dark black smoke. He never realized any of it because he was focused on the power the stone was giving him. He was able to walk through trees and move things using its shadow. His mind went crazy and he thought if he had more stones he could have more power. He travels to the mountains to see the dragon that held the element of water. While the dragon was sleeping he takes his sword and stabs it in the stomach and starts cutting. He digs inside and pulls out the water stone. He then travels to the desert temple to kill the last dragon. But the dragon comes from above and kills the man. The dragon took the two stones and hid them. Years pass and the dragon was left without a family. He then sees a hawk walk out from the forest nearby. His eyes were glowing green and he was also missing one of his wings. Another month passes and more and more animals started showing up. He also realized that more of the creatures where appearing to but this time there were three different types and each with its own element. He spent years training the animals to fight against the the creatures and while the parents fight the children had to stay with the dragon at the temple. Some would see there parents come back but others wouldn't. The dragon later finds out about a giant snake that lived in the mountains who found the water stone and got the element. The dragon later called the two animals with the elements and said that they are now leaders of the elements. More years passed and he realized that all animals are actually spirits of the animals that were killed by the creatures. Some were burned sliced by the fire creatures, some were tortured by the shadow creatures. And some where pulled under water and drowned by the water creatures. Then finally two more years passed and two foxes where found in the forest by a wolf. Laying down in a bush hiding.
