Chapter One: Into Wonderland

Sam's pov

I stared and then... I stared some more.

I slowly brought my fists up to rub my eyes.

No change...

Turning to my side, where I heard snoaring, I blinked at my newly changed friend. I knew it was her because her snoaring hadn't changed.

"Mah...Rei?" I questioned, using Elsie's nickname.

A louder snore was my only response and I slapped my forhead only to cringe as I felt pain.

"There goes the thought of it being a dream." I muttered.

At least I seemed to have clothes on and...omg! I have my headphones and iPod!~

As I giggled happily at my new find, I was not paying attention and so fell face first after tripping on something.

"Ohh.." I groaned.

Why had my boobs not softened the fall?

Looking down I gapped.

"HOLY GEHENNA!?" I shreiked, grabbing at my newly obtained flat chest. I was still female, but what the fluck man?

I had been pretty flat before! Was God punishing me?

Elsie's pov

"Ugh...Anima?" I rubbed my eyes.

I slowly got to my feet and looked around. "Where are we?"

"Dunno, I haven't looked around yet." Anima was still looking at herself.

"You've changed too...izzat right?" I murmured, still dazed from waking up.

"We've both changed," Anima replied. "Wake up and look at yourself!"

"Huh? Whaadaya mean I cha- OH MY GEHENNA!" I yelled, looking at one of those colored glass things on the wall. 'WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?"

"I don't know, but we should really find out where we are first..."

"Yeah. Be sensible...' I looked around the hallway. "Why does this look familiar?"

"Huh? You're right, this does look familiar."

Something clicked in my head. "We're...we're..."

Sam's pov

I stared again.

"HOLY SHITSICKLES!" I cried.

It was..it was True Cross Academy!

I pointed, twitching and gapping, at the giant school.

"Oh...m-" I chocked on my spit and then..then I did what any fangirl would do should they be presented with such a thing, I fainted.

Elsie's pov

I caught her before she fell.

"Anima!" I shouted. There was no reply.

"Hm? There are people here..." I heard a voice say.

"Who's there?" I shouted. I grabbed the nearest thing I could find, a wooden sword (why was it there? Oh well, it's something, at least...).

Mephisto walked into the hallway. 'Hello there. my fellow peer. Why is your boyfriend unconcious?"

My cheeks started to flush. "He's not my boyfriend, Mephisto!"

Oops.

Mephisto looked stunned. "How did you know my name?"

"Shut up and don't mention a word." I held up my sword. When I mean business, I really mean it.

"Violence is not the best way to solve conflicts, young lady." Mephisto said, with a sly grin on his face.

Sam's pov

I groaned as I woke up to voices and someone handling me roughly.

"Ugh. Who has cake, its making me sick." I bemoaned, holding my stomach.

"Anima!" Suddenly I was squished, I knew who it was because they had used my nickname.

"Rei? Whats goin on?" I asked, blinking rapidly and finally able to see again.

"We're in trouble." she explained, and I saw that she was serious and...holding a wooden sword?

"Oi!" I cried, making her blink in confusion. "How come you get a sword and I get nothing?" I whined.

I tensed as I heard a chuckle and spun around with abnormal speed, giving me a headace and making me dizzy at the same time.

"Ugh. Not good to move." I groaned as I grabbed my stomach again.

Elsie's pov

I put her down. "Wait here. I'll deal with it."

"Wait!" Anima cried, but I has already began.

"What do you want Mephisto?" I asked, while clenching my sword tightly.

"You have two choices; One, you two can get captured. Two, you can kill me and run."

I clenched my sword even tighter. "Why would you kill us?"

"Oh? You don't know? That makes it easier, then."

I held up my sword. "Tell me."

He chuckled. "Then come at me."

Right after he has uttered his words, I has already pinned him down, my wooden sword at his throat. "Tell me." I repeated.

"You have quite some skill there, young lady."

"Shut up," I growled. "Just tell me why."

Sam's pov

I moved nervously from foot to foot, trying not to puke.

"Rei! Don't kill him just becau-"

"Your both Half-Demons." he suddenly said, making both Rei and I freeze.

"Wh-what?"

He chuckled as Rei fell away from him, dropping her sword and staring at him with wide purple eyes.

"That not possible!" she cried.

Mephisto stood up and adjusted his hat, a rather evil smirk appearing on his face.

"Ohh but it is. When my wards said I had two Half-demons in my territory I was shocked, but the fact your powers are obviously sealed and you didn't know about your heiritage explains why your able to be here." he explained.

I stared with shock at him. half-demons, us?

Sure we were weird and could be slightly demonic at times but..we were'nt even from this world! How could this happen!?

"So." Mephisto interrupted my thoughts.

"I'll repeat my question from before." Leaning forward he showed his imposing fangs as he grinned at us.
