Kayden 2 (On Hold)

Part 2:9

I stepped out the door with Will behind me trying to get me to come back inside. "Summer come on now you can't just be running the streets, there's dangerous people out there. You should know that by now." He said still following behind me. I kept walking without saying anything, wishing he would turn back around. After awhile It got quiet, I turned around to see he wasn't following me anymore. I stopped took a deep breathe and leaned forward trying to wrap my mind around what I was doing.  "I can't do this" I said to myself. I turned around and ran back home. When I got to the front of the building Will and Isaiah was sitting down on the steps. "What the hell is wrong with you running off like that, you know its dangerous around here." Isaiah said raising his voice. "Calm down, I wasn't even gone that long." I said trying to walk past him. Before I could get by he grabbed me by my arm and turned me around. He didn't even say anything, he just looked at me and walked away. I looked over at Will who was shaking his head. "Told you" he mouthed quietly.

"Whatever, I'm going to check on Kayden" I said rolling my eyes, and walking away. I went inside and went to the kitchen. I stepped back and checked the living room again to notice Tony wasn't on the couch anymore. I shook my head, and continued back into the kitchen. I grabbed a water and headed towards my room. I then noticed the small figure wasn't on my bed in anymore. "Kayden" I said calling out his name as I checked under the bed. I looked in the closet but still no Kayden. My heart begin racing as I called out his name again. I then heard little feet behind me, I turned to see Kayden standing there.  And their was Tony behind him looking at me like I was crazy. "We're was he?" I asked picking him up while still looking at Tony. "We were around, just looking for his Action figure" Tony said handing me the toy. I was about to say something when Will came in."Tony, Isaiah needs you outside" he said pointing his thumb towards the doorway. I sat Kayden on the bed, placing the action figure beside him.

"You straight?" Will asked giving me a confused look.

"It was a bad idea coming back here" I said looking down at my fingers.

"Man I agree with you" he said rubbing the top of his head.

"We need to find Dad and leave As soon as possible" I said standing up swiftly, which caught Will off Guard.
