I stood in front of my body length mirror, scanning my outfit before finally grabbing my purse and closing my bedroom door behind me. Vernon was sitting on my couch, scrolling through his phone.

"I'm ready now." I tell him and he looks towards me.

He looks at what I'm wearing and nods in approval. He does this every time, making sure I don't reveal too much skin. I find it a bit ridiculous considering I'm already 20 years old and still need to get his approval but, I understand that he's just trying to watch out for me and I respect that.

Though, whenever he's not here I wear whatever I want which isn't that different from what I wear when i'm around him. We were now walking out of my apartment complex and getting into his car.

Today we were meeting up with Wonwoo and Joshua, at a place where they served ramyeon. I was actually craving some noodles so I got really excited. It was a short ten-minute ride to the location and my mouth watered as I saw the little restaurant.

Once the car was put into park, we both got out and walked into the slightly busy shop. I spot Joshua sitting at a table near the window and he waves us over.

"조슈아오빠! (Joshua Oppa)" I greet him while he embraces me in a hug.

"Hi, Soo-young-ah." He greets back.

"Where's Wonwoo?" Vernon asks him as we all take our seat.

"He's coming with Seungkwan, they should be here any minute." He tells us and Vernon nods.

As if on cue, Wonwoo and Seungkwan walk up to our table in their suits. I wave to my cousin, Wonwoo, and smiled towards Seungkwan.

"Sorry if we're late, we got held back at the office." Wonwoo explained.

"No you're fine, we just got here." Vernon tells them while Joshua and I nod.

They take their seats and a man comes to take our order. Vernon knew exactly what I wanted so he ordered for me. A notification from my phone goes off and I immediately pick up hoping that it was an email from the retail store that I applied for a week ago. I sigh once I see that it was just a random spam mail.

"What's the matter?" Joshua asks.

"Still haven't found any luck finding a new job, huh?" Vernon asks while looking at me.

I nod while pouting my lips.

"I can help you find a new job!" Wonwoo and Seungkwan offer excitedly.

I raise a brow at them.

"Our boss is looking for an assistant at the company." Wonwoo explains.

"Sounds easy, you should do it." Vernon persuaded.

"I'd do it." I shrug.

Our food and drinks are delivered to our table.

"Cool, I'll let him know." Wonwoo says.

I nod once again before stuffing my mouth with warm noodles.

We've now finished eating and we all put our money into the center of the table. Joshua decided that he will go and pay while we wait outside for him.
