Lola's pov

Hey am Lola Williams.

My mum "Grace" is a Nigerian and my dad "Tobias" is from California. They both met in Nigeria when my dad and Grandpa were on a business trip, my dad's family had this really big company where they imported timber and other mineral resources into the United States.

My parents got married in Africa and the came back to California after the wedding, things were going fine until my granddaddy Billy died of lungs infection. During that period the company crashed and lost a lot of investors.

Okay, long story short, I was born a year after alongside my twin brother Luke, things got really bad so my dad decided to get a loan from their business partner, his pal from way back they say.
My sister Toby was born when things got better I think

With time the company "Williams co" came back and things started getting into place.

But am still happy though, cause they say a happy family stays together, hmm.....am not really sure they say that but its worth saying though

Now let's talk about me. So I turned 22 last month, and graduated the same period, ain't it amazing.

I'm like 5'4, yeah I know... I'm shortish, my mum isn't that tall either, she's in her late 40's and she's 5'3... I'm still taller. Yay .me!
My dad is a giant where i and my mum was, he's like 6'2 in he's 50's, I knew Toby would be as tall as he was cause for a 17 year old she's 5'8. Don't mention my brother's height he's already taller than my dad.

I loved my family dearly.... They were my all and kinda all i had apart from my highschool friends:
Lilian- Lily
Christine- Christy
Hannah- Han

They were my best buds but are annoying as fuck...... They are all in relationships leaving me single
And they always bugged me about getting a boyfriend
Arrrrg....it ain't my fault, I never liked anyone or should I say loved anyone other than Kevin
Thinking about him made me weep...... We were dating in highschool
Should I say we had the best relationship ever, so many people were envious of us.

On the day of our graduation
He came with a girl who I thought was he's cousin.
I'm not dumb but whenever I saw them both, he'd just say twas he's cousin... I kinda believed him.
She looked weird that day..... After collecting our scrolls n certificates I ran to him hoping for him to be happy, he just had a sad face on.... He called me out to tell me something important "air quote that".
Thinking he wanted to tell me something else..... "You look beautiful today, not like you don't other days bu-"
"Kev, I understand what you mean by that" I said laughing.
He just smiled.

"Babe, Camilla is pregnant"

"Ohh, that's nice.. father?"

I smacked him across the face, I've always reacted harshly towards awkward situations

My thoughts;
He never loved me..
He just played me..
I hate all boys....

She was hard to anger, but she looked really pissed that day.

My chain of thoughts were broken by the lunch bell, all workers where to go to lunch... But I wasn't really hungry.....

Okay I'm hungry, but I forced myself to diet, didn't wanna add weight.. or am I trying to reduce my weight

I'm a weirdo.... I know that already

Lunch was over in 30 mins

The day itself was pretty fast i guess....
I was home late tho due to some paperwork I had to go through.
I started working with my dad immediately I finished college....

I know I'm nice right?

Ate dinner alone cause mum n dad were in a business meeting with a bunch of losers......
Toby had eaten before I got home

After dinner, I headed to bed
Letting the cold sheets wrap my body, and I drifted off.

During midnight, the beep of my alarm woke me up.
"Arrg" I whined.. I guess it was time to read

No! I'm not a freak.. I've had the habit of studying since I was in highschool

I'm not a nerd either

After studying for what seemed like hours..
I let the darkness welcome me
