Athena's POV
"I didn't leave the band." I gulped. Is he what I think he is?
"Why are you looking for me?" He repeated his question. I slowly turned around to face whoever this person may be.
My breath hitched. Oh, god.
My eyes met his cold gaze. The kind of gaze that would pierce right through your soul. But at the same time, there's something in his eyes that would make you stare at it. For a long time.
He raised an eyebrow, repeating his question for the third time. "Why are you looking for me?"
I shook my head quickly, "Nothing." But my eyes were still glued to his.
He kept his eyes locked on mine, and his cold gaze didn't change at all. There, I felt a shiver down my spine. What is he doing?
"I need to use the sink. Are you done?" He said without breaking eye contact. His tone didn't change too. He sound disinterested and unsatisfied. I looked away, nodding. "Ah, yeah. Sorry."
I moved away, letting him use the sink. I stared at his back, thoughts running endlessly inside my mind. Did he really talk to me? He even answered my question that wasn't intended for him. He noticed me?
And... why am I reacting this way?
Desiree, then, cleared her throat, bringing me back to reality. I looked at her, only to find her grinning at me with mischief. I shook my head slowly, brushing the idea off of her. I know exactly what she's thinking.
And she's wrong.
I motioned for us to go since we've finished our business there and the clock's ticking closer to 6. She got the message, and we both went back to our table to get our belongings.
As we walked past Animosity again, I managed to catch Billy and Yuan's eyes on our direction. It was a mere second but it left me wondering, why were they looking at us? Did they see what just happened?
I grabbed my backpack and without looking back, Desiree and I both went out of the canteen.
"You just met B.I Gozon." She said with amusement on her face.
"Yeah. He's pretty chill." I shrugged.
"Girl, you just met 'THE' B.I Gozon and that's how you react?" She chuckled. "You really are something, Athena."
I frowned. "What do you expect me to do? Go around screaming like a fangirl? I met him. That's it. What's so special about him, anyways?"
"Oh, you would know. I bet all of my savings on this, you'll fall for him." She looked at me with so much determination. Like she was so sure I'm gonna fall for B.I.
Nope, not gonna happen.
I shook my head. "Impossible."
Desiree cackled, shaking her head as well. "Nothing is impossible, Athena. Give it some time. And you'd be head over heels."
I pinched her arm gently. "Stop it already. That is not gonna happen. I swear."
"Then what about that scene earlier? Why were you looking at him? Not minding that I was actually there too?" She smirked.
"That was nothing. I was just suprised that he was there. And he heard me looking for him. That was embarrassing, to be honest." I tried forgetting how his eyes were looking straight on mine earlier. But I just can't.
What the hell.
"If you could only see how you looked like earlier. Hilarious." She laughed. "You have to treat me out if my gut feeling is right. You'll fall for him."
I shook my head for the nth time. But I didn't bother speaking again. Why would I fall for that guy? I don't even know him personally. I just met him!
I know there was something in him that made me curious.
His eyes are undeniably astonishing.
He's handsome, no doubt.
But that's just it. Nothing more, nothing less.
With so much thoughts occupying my mind, I didn't notice that we were already standing right infront of the stage.
"You okay here? I really want to watch them up close." Desiree looked at me with concern. She knows I'm not quite good with huge crowds.
I nodded, "I'm fine. Don't worry too much."
She smiled and started getting excited. "I can't believe I'm gonna watch them perform live again. After a long time, they're finally here."
I gave her a small smile and stared at the stage.
Well, I guess I'm a little excited too.
