Kengkla took a sip of his drink and looked at Ae, he was not sure what to say. He was saved as their other friends came into the cafe.
'Ae!" Pond yelled, "I have been looking for you all around". They came to join their table.
Ae: what do you want?
Pond: We were planning to go drink to celebrate our dear friend coming back. He looked at Kengkla.
Kengkla: Can we do it some other time? I still have lots of thing to cover.
Ae: ya... thats our new Kengkla. He doesn't have time for us now.
Pond: Please na...we have been missing you all there years and now you are finally here lets go out.
Everyone looked at Kengkla, he could not say no so just shakes his head.
Pond: ok see you tonight at Purgatory. We can finally go there together.
Purgatory was the bar near our old school that Ae used to dream about singing one day.
Kengkla: Ya see you there. Ae I have to go too, laters..
Kengkla walked out of the cafe. He was still thinking about Ae's break up, and was not sure what to feel about it. He knew Ae did not have any feeling for him, and he can't have hope now.
Even thou Ae is single now, he cannot express his feelings to him. He did not want to be a replacement nor did he want loose Ae.
As evening approached Kengkla was feeling confused, he wanted to hang out with his friends but knowing Ae is single now he was not sure what do about it either.
Ai kla! we are here, Pond waved at me from the corner. It seems everyone have arrived already.
Sit here, Ae moved a little and said "We already started drinking".
Ae: what do you want to drink? Don't tell me you still drink that sweet stuff.
Kla: How about you? You used to pass out after 2 beer.
Ae: I have had practice to drink since then.
Kla: We will see.
As we start drinking, I was careful not to drink much. Mean while Ae is drinking non stop and sounds drunk.
Ae: oei! Kla my friend... i missed you...why did you leave?
Pond: Kla, now that you are back you have to take care of Ae. My turn is over, and be grateful he is talking about you or else he will either cry or cause fight.
Ae: Kla I am hungry, lets go eat.
Kla: hu? Pond what is Ae saying?
Pond: Since you left, Ae always go to the Aunty and eat your favorite crepes.
Kla was so confused now, he know Ae can't handle alcohol but he old Ae was happy when drunk. He did not fight or cry.
"Come on Ae lets go get some crepes" Kla said.
