Summer Again

Are you still single?

All the guys circled Kengkla and started talking at the same time. But all Kengkla could do was look at Ae.

After sometime he replied " Why would I come back if not for you guys?"

Ae: May be girls were not pretty enough in your old college.

Kengkla: That is true, also I heard campus star this year is really pretty.

He wanted to say I missed you and I am happy to see you again, but instead he said" laters "and ran towards his class.

When he was coming out of his class he saw Ae waiting for him by the stairs. He was reminded of old days when Ae would always come, and find him in every break until he found someone else to wait for.

Ae walked towards him " you don't have another class till afternoon right?"

KengKla: Yes, I was planning to check out some books from library.

Ae: Lets go get some coffee and catch up, afterward I will take you to the library.

Kengkla : It's ok Ae, I have some other errands to run and I don't want to drag you around campus.

Ae: Since when did you start thinking like this? Why would I mind being with you?

kengkla: No, I just have a lot of things to get done and I don't want to waste your time.

Ae: Are you trying to avoid spending time with me?

How can he ask me that? He does not realize how much I like spending time with him but I don't want to get used to our old routine. I don't want to feel like I owe all of Ae's time.

Before I could say anything he dragged me down the stairs. We went to a small cafe near the library. Ae ordered a cold coffee for himself and a minted lemonade for me.

Ae: Is your taste still same or you learned to like coffee.

Kengkla: I do drink coffee sometime but lemonade is fine.

I could not tell him that whenever I missed him I would drink a coffee . 

As we sat down Ae started asking me tons of questions like why I did not kept in contact, how was studying abroad and if was back for good.

Before I could answer anything he asked me " did you find anyone special there?"
