Amai's P.O.V
I woke up to the smell of waffles ! My favorite 😋 I walk down the hall to the kitchen and see dad at the waffle maker then turn to see the living room to see that Kai has obviously fallen back to sleep on the couch. I don't blame him, it was 7:00am. I have know clue why dad was making breakfast this early. I greet them a good morning and sit at the dining room table. I laid my head down on the table waiting for my waffle as I'm waiting I decided that I was gonna try and sneak a piece of fruit out of the bowl in front of me " hey! Amai ! Get your fingers out of there those are to top of the waffles" my dad snapped as he caught me sneaking. "Fine 😒" I replyed with discusting. Finally breakfast was on the table.
I'm about finished with my waffle and I sit there letting it all settle in. I heard my phone go off in my room. I nearly climb over my poor brother just to get out of the dining room as quick as I possibly could! My dad stopped me right in my tracks taughnting me about "ooooo is that ur little boyfriend cameron" as he makes kissy noises "no dad he isn't my boyfriend and it's probably nothing" I shoot back trying to act relaxed "then why did you get up so quick?" My dad says with a weenk. I flop on my bed and reach over to my night stand and yank my phone off the charger.
Cameron: good morning sunshine☀️ sorry if it is early because it's kinda early for me too, I just couldn't wait much longer to text this beautiful girl I met yesterday 😉
Amai: well good morning to you too, and it's fine I have been up my dad made an early breakfast😊
Cameron: so I was going to ask you if you had any plans today?....
Just as I was going to reply "no" a text message popped up from my best friend Briana
Briana: hey punk! Up for a surf sesh today? 😜
Amai: omg ! Your home from the states !!!! Hold that thought got to take care of something
Briana: its cool just call me whenever it have nothing planned today
That's when I texted back Cameron. I wanted to hang out with him but I hadn't seen my best friend in also most 3 months! Her and I are both homeschooled so her family took an early vacation to the states to see family.
Amai: hey sorry Cameron I would love to hang out today but my friend just got home from the states and we were gonna go to the beach. Your more than welcome to tag along I don't think she would mind just meet us at the north shore whenever ✌️
Cameron: cool see you then ✌️
