The rays of light pouring in the windows make me stir in my sleep, slowly waking me.  The sun had barely rose, and a heavy fog made the room feel dark, and Erie. I slide out of my silk sheets, glancing at the opposite side of the bed, taking note that Ray wasn't in bed. I rubbed my eyes as I wondered over to the door. I stood in the doorway, on the surprisingly unstained pure white marble floors. Images of my childhood flashed through my mind like a slow motion picture I couldn't stop looking at even though I wanted to. My body twitched, as Jarick said a select few words I wish didn't come out of my mouth.

A heavy sigh left my lips as I reached into the pocket of my loose sweatpants, pulling out a small white bottle with small black letters and in large bold print the name 'WOODS, LEWIS' with smaller bold lettering under that spelling chlorpromazine. My mind went fuzzy as flashbacks of my childhood doctors appointments and social banishment ran through my head, remembering when my sister named 'him' Jarick. My second half... my curse. The thought made me hold the bottle tighter. The soft sound of the plastic cracking bringing me back to reality.

Looking down I saw the details on the bottle saying a simple disorder that made me want to scream. For split personality disorder, It read, making me frown. Reaching up I unscrewed the childproof lid and tilted it a little into my scratched up, dry palm. 2 circle medium sized dull yellow pills rolled down into my grasp, the many other pills in the bottle rattling against each other as the lonely two fell into my palm. Lifting my hand I leaned my head back and popped them in my mouth swallowing quickly, making a slightly grossed out face as the sour dusty taste hit my tongue.

After swallowing, I put the lid back on the bottle with a small snap. Then placing them down on a long table along the wall to my left, I took a few steps forward into the silent hallway. The only sound heard was my feet hitting the marble floors as I walked to the staircase down the hall. As I reached the top, I could hear faint sounds of dishes clanking together and it made a smile form on my lips. The stairs felt cold on my feet, but I hurried down them anyway, feeling a pinch of happiness rising inside of me as I finally entered the kitchen down the hall from the staircase.

I looked at her with a smile, she was gorgeous. Long, wavy deep brown hair, and her skin was sprayed with freckles on her flawless porcelain skin. The blue Cookie Monster pajama shorts she work showed her body off well. I took a deep breath, smelling whatever she was cooking. I assumed it was sausage. As I did, she turned more than likely hearing me. my icey blue eyes met her bright green ones. God they were perfect.

"Good morning gorgeous"

Her face lit up with a smile. I could feel my heart beat just alittle harder as I walked over to her, I confirmed that she indeed was making sausage then looked down at her with a gentle gaze.

"Good morning babe" she smiled at me, giving me a quick hug, I leaned down and pecked her on the lips quickly before heading to the fridge so she could continue cooking.

"You're up early this morning?" I questioned

Considering the fact she never woke up before noon, barely 8am is pretty early for her to be up and cooking.

"And you slept in" she shoots back with a smirk on her face.

I opened the fridge shaking my head softly
"You got me there"
After taking out the orange juice, I grabbed a cup from beside the sink and poured me a cup before putting it away and sitting at the island in the middle of our kitchen.
