Fabulous Book Summary :: In a world where people have begun to gain strange, inhuman abilities, these few characters have strived to piece the city back together. Solas City was once a breathtaking, peaceful city, full to the brim with, not strangers, but friends. The city’s crime rate was so low that nobody had to worry about theft or murder or anything of the sort.
Until now.
Since these people have gained these abnormal abilities, some have decided to use them for malevolence, deciding to take advantage of their newly found power to get what they want: riches, control, revenge, anything that they could think of.
Because of this, the city was forced to evacuate. In 48 hours, the gates would close, leaving any former residents of the city that had been unable to leave in time. They would be trapped in a large city with nowhere to go, and would likely die in a mere day.
The police attempted to rid the city of these criminals. Alas, years passed, and they were still unable to make a lasting impact.
Little did the villains know, there were more. A group of mere kids, that started out small but gradually grew larger as time passed, also had these strange abilities. The kids decided to stay behind in an attempt to do what the police could not; save the city that they had once resided in and loved.
They struggled. They found hope. They grew closer. They split apart. They opposed one another. They stuck together. They laughed. They cried. They lost. They sacrificed. They hoped.
This is the story of A Hundred Hardships.
