Chapter 1

Iyana's POV
Beep, Beep, Beep!!!!!

I woke up a little earlier than usual because, today is the first day of school. I got up and went to the closet so I can grab Jackie and I some clothes. I got a red crop top for me, and a blue crop top for Jackie, our black high-waisted jeans, and our Gucci sandals.I hung her clothes on the door and left so that I could get ready.

I finished about 30 minutes later, so I went to wake Jackie up. On my way to our room, I bumped into August.

"Hey August, is breakfast ready?"

"Nah, Ma is still cooking. She wanted me to come up here to see if y'all were still sleeping."

"Oh, okay. Tell her that we are getting ready."

"Aight."

After talking, I went to the room to see that Jackie was already dressed. That's a first!

"Hey Jackie!"

"Hey Ana! Sit down while I do your makeup." I sat down beside the computer desk while she did my makeup. My phone started ringing and I look at the screen to see that Davina texted me.

Davina- Morning Ana, my brother is finna drop me off at your house. Can I ride to school with you and your sister?

Ana- You know that you can ride with us anytime. Wait......... You just want some food, don't you.

Davina- No, that's not the reason....... Ok, you caught me.

Ana- mhmm How did you know that my mom was cooking breakfast?

Davina- 1 Because your mom always make y'all breakfast in the morning. 2 She always makes my brother and I some when we come over. And lastly, your brother called my brother, asking if he wanted some breakfast. DeAnthony said he good, but I didn't.

Ana- Okay. Where are you now?

Davina- Pulling up in your driveway.

Jackie was done doing my makeup,and now she's doing hers. I went downstairs to open the door for her but August beat me to it. Davina came in and spoke to my mom. My mom asked her where was her brother, she said that he was outside talking to August. She gave her a to-go plate with breakfast in it along with a bottle of orange juice to give to her brother. Davina grabbed the plate and gave it to her brother before he left.

We all ate breakfast and then we all got into August's  2009 Toyota Camry and headed to school.
