Day of Practical Exams

Kaito stared up at the building with awe. He felt the glances as he just continued to stand there. It was amazing. He was here, about to do the practical exams to enter U.A. If he could pass. There was always a chance that he could fail. Doubts filled his body and overfilled it but he quickly pushed away. He couldn't hesitate now. He went to go take a step forward when he felt something detach from his body. Fuck. He yelped as he started to fall, quickly bumping into someone and falling face first. He let out a groan of both pain and embarrassment. He didn't move, making people glance at him with annoyance and walk around him. One person stopped by him, kneeling down.
Kaito turned onto his side, eyes(more like eye but the eye hole that was under bandages did the same as his visible eye) squeezing shut in pain."H-Hey, are you okay?" A squeaky voice asked the male. Kaito opened his visible purple eye to find a male with shockingly bright yellow hair. He had a very cute face, Kaito thought. The boy seemed to become more nervous under Kaito's gaze and he quickly seemed to realize.
"Ah, yes. Sorry to worry you." He says, shifting himself to sit up. He reached down, grabbing his detached foot."Damn foot. I don't need you detaching." He grumbled. To the other teen, it came out as grunts and groans as he just glared at his hands moving his covered foot. The foot wiggled it's toes in response before being reattached. Kaito sighed and looked at the other male with a grimace."Sorry. My quirk has my limbs detach without me thinking about it." He says sheepishly, standing. The blonde followed his lead, biting his lip.
"N-No problem! I need to go, but n-nice meeting you!" He squeaked. He turned and hurried away, making Kaito watch dumbfounded. The ravenette slumped as he sighed, looking down. Damn appearance. He quickly made his way to the door, receiving a card. He was ushered to find a seat so the ceremony start.
Kaito looked up at the gate in amazement. So many people stretched around him but he tuned them out to focus. His body twitched, his limbs becoming excited. The silence was broken as the teens all heard the same thing. The signal. The students rushed forward, and Kaito quickly followed with excitement flowing through him. Quickly, he found himself faltering. He watched other students starting to destroy the robots. He quickly rushed forward, touching someone's shoulder."Go kill robots." He ordered to the student, whose eyes had turned milky white along with pale skin. The student nodded, understanding the grunts and groans of the corpse. They quickly walked away, as Kaito started thinking.
How could he use his quirk? His mind started rushing as he tried to think. He hoped that he was getting points by that student but he couldn't lean on that person only. So what was he going to do? While he started to overflow with doubts, a robot approached the boy.
"H-Hey, watch out!" A boy's voice got out. Kaito was forced out of his panic and he looked up to spot the robot approaching. His breaths started up speeding and he watched with his visible eye widening-
Thunder rumbled and the robot was struck by lightning. It froze before slowly falling forward. Kaito watched in horror and as his mind quickly flashed to the connection between him and the other teen, quickly destroying it, his arm was grabbed and he pulled back."Hey, are you okay?" Another voice asked. Kaito looked back at the male, who had grabbed his left arm. The ravenette slowly nodded, causing the male to let go of him."Good. Later." And with that, the albino ran off, probably to kill more robots. Kaito spotted a flash of blonde hair running off in the opposite direction. Kaito cursed, now needing to go get more points. After all, the more time he wasted standing there, the less points he had and the less of a chance he would get into U.A.
Jinx watched in amusement as they watched the videos of the students."Think all of them made?" They asked their friend playfully. The hero named Dreamer, known to her friends as Mayu, just hummed sleepy, leaning back on the couch with her eyes closed.
"No one has your luck, Ro." The female says, her aura not even affecting the luck hero."I don't even know how you wouldn't have gotten in." The fellow 24 year old says, cracking one eye open."Now are you done so I can go home?"
"Shush, shush." Roan says with a playful smile, pulling out a cigarette. They lit it and put it between their lip. They inhaled while their flaming blue eyes darted around the screen before landing on a familiar ravenette. They shot forward on the couch, leaning forward as their mouth dropped. The cigarette fell as the fellow hero raised an eyebrow.
"Something wrong?" She asked with sleepy curiosity, watching the bright hair male. Her dull red eyes showed no emotion as her body was relaxed. This was the usual behavior of the drowsy hero, and as someone who had been classmates with her, Roan was use to it.
"There's the kid." They point towards the ravenette."That's the one that caught the villain for me!" Their voice raised in victory and they turned towards Mayumi with a grin."I need to get going. This is perfect! I'll see you during patrol tonight." They quickly stood up, rushing to the door. They grabbed their jacket and slipped on their shoes. They put on their jacket, grabbing their phone as they dialed a familiar number. They were finally going to get answers.
