"Jacob, I'll cover for your next shift. Go and enjoy the nice weather," Bea cheered. Her small face was covered with a gaping smile. Her large doe eyes were shining like stars.
"Oh Bea you are my savior!" I shouted happily. I kissed her cheek and speed off to the break room to grab my satchel.
I skipped out of the small bakery with a huge smile on my face.
As soon as I registered I was free. I felt the wind whip through my short ebony hair. My eyes scanned over the freshly cut grass and tall oak trees.
I bounded to the park as quickly as I could, wanting to witness spring at its peak.
