bleeding out

you hate your skin. every night you scratch at it trying to peel it off. you scar it- make it it just like the inside, flawed. it never gets clean, it'll always be dirty.

you hate your eyes. you remember him saying "such pretty blue eyes" over and over again above you. you start wearing glasses to cover them up.

you hate your hair. how it hurt when you woke up. the blood on your scalp from where he pulled too hard. people tried to touch it all the time, so you cut it off.

you hate your body. the way he touched you in places you did not know existed. you start trying to become fat, so men won't be attracted to you. it does not work.

you hate your nails. seeing the blood under them in the morning made you throw up. you started to paint them red in reminder to always fight back.
