Jin's POV

I breathed in and out.

Drops of sweat are forming on my forehead.

And my hands were trembling a bit.

Why would I be nervous? As if that Kim Jisoo is smarter and better than me. Whatever questions she'll ask, I'll simply answer it.

"Doctor Jin, it's time for you to enter the audio visual room now." The nurse in charged told me.

I fixed myself first before entering the room.

When I entered, I climbed up the mini stage.

Then I fixed my gaze among the panelists, most especially at Kim Jisoo.

She looks so authoritative. Her aura had totally changed after the accident and remembering everything.

"So listen Doctor Jin, Miss Jisoo will be the one who'll ask you questions, and then me and the other panelist will evaluate it." One of the panelists said

"I understand."I responded

"Okay let's start." Jisoo commanded.

She then snapped her fingers and the projector turned on, almost blinding me as I instantly backed away.

I then started reporting about my medical research.

A way for cure towards Cancer patients. It's by drinking lemon grass juice.

After I finished my report...

"Hold up.. Doctor Kim Seok Jin, how sure are you about the effectiveness? what percentage would you estimate that it could actually cure cancer patients?" Jisoo asked

"I'm not exactly about to estimate it since it's accurately true." I replied

"Accurately true?... hmm, big word. How sure are you? Let's say if you let a cancer patient in this hospital drink something, what if that patient had no progress in getting cured. What are you going to do?"

I gulped, I don't know if this is out of nervousness but my mind was getting blanked by her questions.

"Then we'll just go with the natural way, like doing surgeries and operations." I tried answering.

"So, basically you're trying to imply here that you have no faith in that juice for curing?"

"No what I'm just trying to ask your 'what if' question."

"Still, you're trying to imply that. You should have defended your lemon grass juice rather than looking for another option. I'm sorry Kim Seok Jin but that's the way it runs here. As a doctor, you have to defend your treatments towards your patients. Right guys?" She asked her fellow panelists.

They both nodded.

"Okay thank you for presence today Doctor Jin. You may go now." She said for the last time.

I bowed down and left the room feeling embarassed.

I leaned my head on the wall on the lounge area.

Then it happened that she passed by.

I instantly walked towards her.

"Miss Jisoo we need to talk." I told her

"Oh.. what is it Doctor Jin?" She smiled

"Stop smiling at me! I know what you're trying to do.You're trying to roast me and kill me with your difficult questions. Are you freaking kidding me? You totally want to make me feel like hell. You want me totally away from this hospital!"

"Wow really? That's what you thought? Well then, that's actually true. I want you away from my life as soon as possible. Your presence disgusts me. After everything you did to me. You're a guy who deserves to rot in hell Kim Seok Jin."

Jisoo was about to leave when I pulled her arm.

This time, I was cupping both of her shoulders and started staring at her intensely.

I know my heart started beating rapidly just by staring at her huge eyes....

"Why do you have to do this? Do you even know that I was the one who cured you when you got into an accident. I got so concerned about you, and even day and night, I couldn't forget about you. You're the only one I could think of Kim Jisoo during those times. You invade my thoughts all the time."

I felt her push me away.

"Stop touching me. You're concerned at me? Wow, that's the most obvious lie I've ever heard. How come a guy who insults me almost everyday in my journey in this hospital is now thinking for my welfare? Stop this nonsense and all your lies Jin. I won't fall for this. I'm not a foolish person unlike you. I want you away from me from now on."

"You know what? If that's what I get for trying... I'd rather hand my leave letter. I'll leave this hospital. So don't worry, my presence won't pester you anymore." I instantly walked away feeling hurt.

I then grabbed my gray coat on the chair.

She really hated me after all those things I did to her.. but believe me, I seriously regretted everything. I accept my faults and mistakes, maybe the longer I'll stay in this hospital, the more I'll hurt her.. goodbye Kim Jisoo.
