"You were smiling often.. ever since you became a couple"

"He makes me happy Ms. Lena"

"And I am also happy to see you like that again Hyori.." 

The girl who's laying on the bed smiled, she and Sehun have been together for 3 weeks. She can't remember the days when she was being joyful like this. She may look sicky but deep inside she's feeling the opposite of hate, all of this is because of him. He was so sweet to her. He always visits her at the hospital because she can't be able to go to school yet. In 2 days.. It'll be Christmas and she can't think of anything to give to him after all she...

"Ms. Lena? what am I going to do?"

"Hyori, It's better if you let him know.. didn't you just said that you have trust in him now?"

"I do trust him but.... I don't want to hurt him either..."

Both of their eyes saddened.

"Hyori.."

"Just don't let him know.. okay? I'm sure it'll break his heart."

"But It'll break his heart more if you won't tell him."

"I might not make it Ms. Lena.." She hold both of her hands

"Don't say that.. you're a strong girl Hyori, I'm sure you'll be fine."

"To be honest, I don't know... it keeps on hurting everyday. I don't have a confidence about this.."

It's true, having this kind of cancer is very painful. No words can even describe how it felt. It burns inside like theres something inside your body. It's killing her day by day.

"I'll do the best that I can Hyori, I won't let you..."

"Ms. Lena, I know that you've been a good guardian to me ever since my mom died and I want to thank you for that but if its my time already then we can't do anything about it anymore."

"Hyori.." Lena wiped the tears that are falling from her eyes.

"I know I know.. Its hard to accept but just be happy for me when I pass away..okay?" 

Lena can't say anything. Tears were dropping continously from her eyes.

"Just promise me Ms.Lena.. dont tell it to Sehun."

"Okay..." she said in a whisper

Hyori coughed many times while putting a hand on her mouth. Then she put both of her arms on her stomach and cried.

"I-It hurts..." Her body is trembling and numbing from the pain. She clutches her hospital gown so tight like it can almost be ripped.

"Hyori! Just wait for a second!!"

Lena quickly moved to get the medicine for acid reflux, she got a bottle of water and help Hyori take all the medicine. When she gulped it all down, the massive pain becomes little and she calmed down a little bit.

"Are you okay now?"

"It still hurts..."

"Don't worry, I'll only be here.. now go to sleep" She help her lay her head down on the pillow.

"Thanks for everything Ms.Lena..."

"Its been what? multiple times that you said that."

 "And I won't stop.." she gave her a weak smile

"Go to sleep now, you needed it."

Hyori closes her eyes and let darkness overcome her.

"How's your day Sehun?"

"It's okay, I guess?" 

"Hm."

"How about yours?"

"Not boring like it used to, I am reading my favorite book again." She said while flipping the pages of the book. She just had woke up before he came.

"I've red this book for like a hundred time."

"On christmas, I want to take you somewhere.. that is if the doctor will let me.." Sehun scratches the back of his head

"Like a surprise?" 

"Yeah.."

She gave him a forced smile, he'll take her to a wonderful place again where for a minute she can forget her pain inside but at the same time she's also sad because on christmas day she doesn't know if she'll be able to make it or not.

"I-I'll try to be strong Sehun... I'll try.."

He kissed her forehead and sits at the bed next to her. She hugs him tight like she'll fall down if she let go.

"Whats wrong?"

"Nothing.. I just want to hug you.." He hugs her back

"This may sound corny but... I love you... "  he blushes from embarassment

"Aww.. you don't have to say that Sehun, I knew that you do.. but I love you as well..." she touches his cheek, gave him a peck on the lips and lay her head on his shoulders.

 She doesn't know what will happen at Christmas day but no matter what it is.. she'll be ready for it.

I'll miss you....
