It's intriguing to me by how much of a different person I once was before all of this. Sometimes I even forget how I was like, but I'll always remember the transition, how the new me became...

A gust of cold wind blew through the window onto my dainty pale skin that hasn't seen the sun since ever, making me wake up- from not the bed I'm used to, but the couch instead. My head slightly throbbing whilst I tried to get up from my lazy position into a productive standing one. "Fuck," I cursed under my breath. My head hurt, what did I even drink?
The wind was still blowing, making me shiver. It must have been Hoseok who opened it, right? If I'm being honest, I don't quite remember anything from yesterday but just as I entered the kitchen to try to find a window that was opened, it wasn't hard to predict.
The smell of alcohol entered my nose, while the vision of said alcohol was spilled over the kitchen counter with empty small shot glasses plus one that has been shattered all over the floor. I doubt we were that drunk the other night... very small doubt but I tried to get a hold of Hoseok to see if he remembers anything. "Hoseok?" I called out, my head still hurting from last night. Hopefully, wherever he was, he would hear my callings. However, he didn't respond. "Hobi?" I asked out once again, this time louder than before. Still, there was no answer.
I gave up on calling for the deaf boy and took the matter in my own hands. Grabbing a towel, not knowing if it's dirty or clean, I cleaned up the strongly scented liquid off the counter. I do know that I shouldn't be cleaning since my head feels like a ticking time bomb, but I just can't stand the dirty. Everything had to look tidy for me, no matter what. Later, I grabbed a broom and tried my best to sweep every single bit of broken glass that I've seen on the kitchen floor. Though I was slightly tired, I kept going. Looking back at the small changes I've made, I thought to myself, 'Phew, back to normal. But where is Hoseok exactly? He'd usually be up helping me, or at least say something.' I started to get slightly worried, so being as 'reasonable' as I was, I went to go check for him.
"Hoseok? Hello? Are you home?" I asked several times, still without any answer back. Creaks of the floor were noticeable heard when my foot started to walk faster with worry. He wasn't anywhere. Not in the bedroom, not in the bathroom, and definitely not in the kitchen or living room.
I quickly walked over to the kitchen, looking for my phone. Maybe he was just out for a walk? Or even shopping? I made millions of scenarios in my head to calm myself down, even though some of them were too ridiculous to be true.
Grabbing the phone that seemed like it was perfectly laying there for me, I ringed Hoseok's number.
It made me anxious to my stomach. He couldn't have gone far, I'm sure of it. However, it didn't seem like he would pick the phone up anytime soon.
One call after the other, none of them were answered by the sound of any familiar voice. I stopped myself from calling for the tenth time and think rationally for a second.
Okay, so if Hoseok isn't home- he's either at- it clicked me. The only place Hoseok could tolerate as much as this house was Jimin's. With that thought in mind, I grabbed the phone once again, this time more firmly. I was determined that this was the time where I'll hear my lover's voice.
I rang Jimin's phone, fidgeting my fingers in the process. 'Please, for the love of God, answer the damn phone.' The ringing was haunting; ring after ring after ring.
My prayers were finally answered as the sound of a phone being picked up was heard.
"Yoongi Hyung! Didn't expect you to call me, what's up?" Jimin said a little too enthusiastic for the morning hour through the phone. More of my hope was lost, it didn't seem like Hoseok came to his place at all. "Uh, Hi Jimin," I greeted, "by any chance, did Hoseok ever come over to your place, maybe even contact you?" The boy from the other side of the cell phone made a small confused noise before answering, "No, Well, I don't believe so. Doesn't he live with you? Aren't you guys like a," he paused, probably thinking of a word to use, turning his voice volume quieter, he says, "a thing?"
