When we got to the mall, I had to stay on X's back. We walked into forever 21 first. I found a cute pink. net shirt (it's like a basketball net, with holes and stuff. You know, the shirt has holes? Okay whatever.) I picked it up. "Isn't this cute?" I ask Mel. "Yasss! Get it!" She says. I try to pick it up, but X let's go of my left leg, and slaps my hand away from the shirt. I roll my eyes. "No." He says. I sigh. I point over in the corner. "Go over there!" I say. I smack his butt. "CMON HORSEY!" I scream. He laughs, and full force RUNS over to where I was pointing. I look at a cute pair of bleached ripped jeans. They were only ripped on the knees. "Are these Okay?" I ask. He nods. "Take me to the register!" I say. He runs over to the register. "Is this it for today?" The cashier asks Jahseh. I see her wink at him. I lower my head down to his dreads. The cashier looks at me, than back at Jah. I guess Mel seen it, because she came over ready to fight. "A menos que estés listo para luchar, ¡te sugiero que te des por vencido! {UNLESS YOU READY TO FIGHT, I SUGGESTS YOU BACK OFF HIM!}" She screams at the Cashier. X backs up to give the girls room. "¡Pégame! ¡Te mataré! Pruébame! {Hit me! I'll kill you! Try me!}" The cashier screams back. "Uhh. Do something before we get kicked out!" I whisper yell at X. He grabs Mel's arm, and pull her out of the store as she's screaming. We find Ski and Wifi in the food court. "Ugh! We didn't get my jeans!" I say. X sits me on the chair next to Mel. "I'll get to them. Stay here." He says. He takes his jacket, and ties it around my waist. "I can see your thighs. That's not a good thing." He says. I raise up one eyebrow. "It means other people can see them too." He says. I roll my eyes. "Whatever. Can you just go get my jeans?" I say. She smirks, and walks off. "Vruh, That cashier me bent ALL THE WAY BACK!" (It's something people here in N.C say. Like if a teacher says. "You have homework, page 1 through 26." Someone night say, "bruh, this teacher got me bent." Okay bye!) Mel says. "Who told you you could say 'Vruh'?" Wifi asks her. She shrugs. "I did. When I started liking y'all music." She says. He smiles at her. She blushes. "Anyway, What is She do?" Ski asks. "She was winking at my besties man! Yo no juego eso. {I don't play that.}" She says. I blush. "So, What'd you two get to eat?" I ask, changing the subject. "Actually, We're just waiting here for y'all. We was gonna go to IHOP." Ski says. "YAY!" I scream. A man comes over, and hands me a five dollar bill. "You dropped this a while ago. I was looking for you." He says. "Thanks." I say, taking the money. I smile, and he smiles back. He walks off. X comes over at lightning speed. "Who was that?" He asks me. "Um, I don't know, some dude who gave me my money back." I say, waving the money in his face. I look closer. He has little lip gloss imprints on his mouth. I scoff. "What?" He asks me. "Mel, let's go to PINK." I say, ignoring him. He's deranged. How come I can't wear shorts, be he can have a full make out session? But anyway, we're not together, so I shouldn't be bothered. I try to walk off, but a fall. "Let me help." X says. He try's to grab my hand, and I pull away from him. "Wifi, can you help my friend get to PINK?" Mel asks. He nods, and help me onto the chair. He leans down between my legs, and I hop on his back. "Thanks." I say.

When we go into PINK, I go over to a cropped sweater that'll only cover my bra, and an inch under it. It's a cute shade of purple, and says PINK all the way down both sleeves. It has a hood. I grab it and these cute sweatpants the same color. They also say PINK down both pant legs. I go to the register. "That'll be $23.75." The cashier says. I give her my card. She bags my clothes, and gives them to Wifi. "Thanks for shopping at PINK!" She says. "We're gonna go wait back at the door court." I say to Mel. She nods, and we go back. Wifi sits me next to X. X smirks at me, and I give him the death glare. I take out my phone, and play my Calm down🤗 playlist. The first song that comes on is Mine-Bazzi. My face lights up. "You so. Freaking. Precious. When you. Smile." I sing. "HIT IT. FROM THE. BACK. IT. DRIVE. YOU. WILD!" Mel sang as she danced over to us. "Girl I. Lose my. Self up. In those. I-I-I-I- Eyes." I sing, smiling at Melany. "I just. Wanna. Let you know you're..." She sings back. "MINE!" We both sing. "Hands on your body, I don't wanna wast no time!" I sing. "Feels like forever, even if forever's tonight." Mel sings. I pause the music. "Y'all sounds pretty dope." Ski says. I smile. "Thanks chica." Mel says. "Y'all ready to get to IHOP or nah?" I ask. "Yeah let's go." Wifi says. He picks me up on his back. When we get to the car, he sits me in the passenger seat, and X drives. I stay silent the whole ride.
