Xzalto
A description of Xzalto siding with Xzalto:
Xzalto is a great majesty, and an extravagant goddess. Her gracious rule over Kylovixx XIII (when she feels like supervising it) is a peaceful one in which her subjects pay respect to her via sacrifices. No creature could ever compare to her beauty, nor her wisdom and generosity. The scourge that is Gumshaw frequently interferes with the animals of Kylovixx XIII, while Xzalto safely watches from a (great) distance to protect them and let species evolve naturally. As the goddess of life, balance, the ecosystem, and order, she takes great pride in sewing the seeds of life into the (supposedly once desolate) planet.
A description of Xzalto siding with Gumshaw:
Xzalto is essentially the antithesis of what Gumshaw repesents. While Gumshaw sees other creatures as equal to herself, Xzalto is just the opposite and believes all others, say for the exception of Scuttler and possibly Gumshaw, are beneath her and thus unworthy of her time and care. Ironically, Xzalto is and sees herself as the guardian of the ecosystem, life, and balance, despite her complete lack of effort to oversee it (which Gumshaw happily does for her instead). Xzalto's ego has lead to her short temperament and unfair treatment of others, prompting Gumshaw to kindly offer the victims of Xzalto's wrath an alternative option for a fairly reasonable price that, of course, varies between situations.
Gumshaw
A description of Gumshaw, siding with Gumshaw:
Gumshaw; Bringer of Chaos; Serpent of Freedom; Spawn of the Apocalypse. As her titles suggest, she is viewed as a great deity that is capable of ravaging all of Kylovixx XIII. The tail's head does, in fact, have a working brain if not a primitive one. Their nervous systems are fused, although Gumshaw's influence greatly overpowers any control to tail has. Realistically, Gumshaw is quite . . . "humble" if not rambunctiously animalistic in personality for any ancient deity, which is why she doesn't have any flashy feathers, horns, jewelry, or head dresses. She also enjoys interacting with all animals, which is something that her older sister, Xzalto, is extremely opposed to doing.
A description of Gumshaw siding with Xzalto:
A scourge and a nuisance, Gumshaw continuously terrorizes the creatures of Kylovixx XIII. Numerous attempts to cease this behavior have been made to no avail, endangering the ecosystem and placing the balance of life in great danger as she interacts with the lesser species. What she herself does not realize is that she (Gumshaw), along with Xzalto and Scuttler, could each individually could destroy the ecosystem with great ease. Luckily, despite the two major threats of Gumshaw and Scuttler, Xzalto's great mercy and care for all the creatures of Kylovixx XIII provides a great protection from Gumshaw while Scuttler remains dormant, if not somewhat docile (but still extremely threatening).
Scuttler
A description of Scuttler:
This kaiju is a giant among giants with a full body length of about 1,000 meters, but only coming to stand upright at 250 meters. Many say her tongues, combined with early giant squid sightings, were what brought natives to believe in something like the Kraken.
Her body alone is snake-like, allowing for great mobility, but her legs are centipede-like and move like such, giving this (oddly) beloved kaiju the name "Scuttler." There's no getting below her, as she has several eyes lining the scales of her belly, as well as her sides and lower jaw. Her brain is theorized to be dispersed throughout her entire body like an octopus, allowing her a greater sense of her surroundings. This massive leviathan of a kaiju lays dormant at the bottom of the ocean and is seemingly immortal.
Mythology Summary:
Gumshaw is the bringer of the apocalypse and chaos, as well as the idea of free will. Xzalto (her older sister) is the bringer of life and order, but dictates that nothing go out of line, for she worries that the precious ecosystem will surely collapse. Scuttler, as she has no proper mythic name, is the mother of these two, but does not interact with the planet, but rather is part of it.
Oddly enough, none of these deities seemed too happy when the human researchers arrived.
