The large, boney hand jutted out towards you was, well...large. In fact, everything about this monster was large. From his skull and those eye sockets, to his broad shoulders and those trunk-like arms, all the way down his thighs and to his feet. Even the way he dressed was large to say in the least. Large and loud.

His red suspenders that were strapped tight over his black vest were bright and blood-colored, his clothes pin-striped and elegant, and even down to his shiny shoes. This man was loud in so many ways.

He was also waiting for a response.

His grin was rather wide, also. Toothy and dangerous looking, what with that shiny gold tooth of his flashing in the glinting light of the bar. Realizing how dumb you felt and how dumber you probably looked, your eyes widened and you finally broke from your childish gaze and offered your hand to his. He grasped it softly, his hard digits surrounding yours. Yup, just as you thought. As he shook your hand you couldn't let go of the fact that yours seemed to completely disappear into his. Swallowed whole.

The skeleton now known as Sans let go of your hand after a couple of seconds, not bothering with how casually he grabbed the stool next to yours, helping himself propping his body up onto it. He finagled with his position until he was just sure that the balance was right. The chair creaked in a defeated plea.

"Ya' ought to buy me my own special chair," his voice boomed suddenly in a joking manner. Grillby turned to him and said humorously over his shoulder in reply;
"Start paying off your tabs and I'll think about it!" Sans chuckled back, rolling up his sleeves as he turned towards you halfway, his back now pointing away from the bar as he gave you his undivided attention. Save from the mustard bottle.

"So, what brings somethin' as pretty as you to the ugly side a'town?" he asked before taking another inhale from his cigar. Watchful eyes peered at the way the smoke lingered inside of his skull before pouring out slowly, smoothly from his eye sockets and betwixt those sharp teeth of his. It truly was amazing, watching someone with the inner-anatomy function with normal habits like most humans. It sure looked different, but was mesmerizing. You fingered the straw of your drink mixing it before shyly answering Sans' question.

How would you answer it? Vague as possible. As friendly as he seemed, you didn't need some stranger knowing your business.

"Vacation." You answered simply before taking a sip of your drink. It was green but warm and soothed you down to the core. Sans looked to you with a bewildered expression before outright laughing, almost obnoxiously even!

His sockets squinted delightfully before he caught his breath, giving a low whistle as he reached for the mustard bottle so soon.

"Ah, I hadn't had a laugh like that in a while," he then squirted some of the condiment into his mouth, licking his lipless mouth in the corner before continuing.

"You don't take vacations to a place like Snowdin, dollface." This guy sure was thick with the compliments, was he? Then again, you didn't take offense. Maybe those were things he called every pretty girl he'd see in town. It confused you as to why that would matter so suddenly.

Before you knew it you shot back in a snappy but sassy manner; "And who's to say that? Maybe I have different tastes opposed to those of the usual." Those drinks were starting to hit you now, you could hear it in the way you said things so casually. Confidently.

This seemed to spark the skeleton's interest.

Those red lights in his eye sockets brightened. His shoulders drooped in surprise before his sockets went half lidded. That must have really struck some kind of chord with him, albeit you didn't know whether good or bad. Seconds went by, terrifying seconds before he gave a secondary chuckle that seemed to bubble from the pit of his stomach before jumping out from his toothy smile and into the air. You sighed in relief.
