Things She Hides

Do you not see the look in her eyes?

The tears that threaten to fall,

The natural lies.

Do you not see how much pain she holds back,

The screams she bites behind,

Her faded smile.

Look deep, do you not see?

See how she hurts,

How she wants to weep?

The lies that build up,

Her hard-as-rock wall.

Everything you see isn't true at all.

She holds it all behind,

Hides it from you.

Because who would ever know that her precious smile isn't true?

That it's nothing but hallow- no feeling beneath.

You would never tell,

Cos her actions are always so bleak.

Maybe if you tried,

You would see how much she cries.

How much she needs a true friend.

Shattered from the others,

Trust so broken beyond belief.

Hopefully next time, others could think before they speak.
