after what seemed to be hours, the old van screeches to a stop, causing zach to snap awake. his eyes focus on his surrounds and tears pool in his eyes, it wasn't a dream. the small brunette pulls his curly headed friend tighter in his arms. the action causes the small boy to turn and flutter his hooded eyes. taking in the surroundings as well, he starts to whimper in his best friend's chest.

the rusty doors suddenly swing open, a harsh breeze forcing the boys to shudder. zach looks up to the men with nothing but hatred in his eyes. the three enemies share mumbled words before the two are harshly grabbed, shrieks leaving the smallest's lips, earning a slap in return.

"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH HIM YOU BITCH!" the short brunette defends. without a response, the two are dragged to a wooden door that belongs to a quite large home.

the house is at least three floors with white siding. based on the walk to the door, the front lawn seems enormous. the porch perfectly made, not making a squeak from the amount of movement. even in the pitch black, the lights from the streets and the moon, seem to shine a glow to the household.

the struggle fading from the two boys, seems to cut the venture inside's time in half. while the curly headed boy wails in tears, the unknown men don't shift in the slightest. once inside, the boys are thrown to the large couch, bouncing on each other.

"jack," the boy whispers, "are you hurt? did that bitch hurt you?" in response, the curly headed boy slowly shakes his head.

"i-i'm sc-cared-d, z-"

"SHUT UP YOU TWO!" their conversation dies instantly. "you two are ours now, you'll do what we say, understand?!" one of the men questions loudly. the man is tall, really tall. he has dark hair that flows carelessly and arms that look scary large, zach thought.

"fuck off!" the short brunette yells in return. the man's eyes narrow in on him, anger in them.

"that was not a good choice, zachary."

"h-how the hell do you know my name?" the boy starts to stutter.

"that's for another time. now, these are the rules, if you break them, you'll be punished." the tall man replies. "care to explain, guys?" though the boys knew they were there, they still jumped when they stepped closer.

"alright, my name is corbyn," the blonde man says, "first rule: no swearing. pretty babies like you aren't old enough. two, you must call us daddy or sir, names aren't appropriate."

"my name is daniel." a tall brunette said softly. "the next rules are to always listen and be on your best behavior. that way, no one has to get hurt." he's so gentle with his words.

"daniel, stop being so nice," the first man said, "the last two rules are simple, yet most important. one, don't try to escape, it won't work, and will lead to very bad things. two, NEVER go into our office. if i find either of you in there, i will not hesitate to rip-"

"JONAH!" daniel yells, "why don't i take the boys to bed while you guys set up for tomorrow?" the two other men nod and walk off while daniel smiles at the two boys on the couch.

"i'm sorry for how poorly you're both being treated, but it will be better if you just do as we say, okay?" the brunette looks into each of the boys' eyes in confirmation. when jack slowly nods his head, daniel smiles. he then turns is focus on zach.

"what about you, zachary?" the smaller brunette flinches slightly at the name.

"fine, but call me zach. please." daniel's face brightens and he jumps to his feet.

"amazing! zach and jack, please follow me so i can get you changed and asleep!" the two boys reluctantly shuffle their feet as they follow the tall man through the long hallway. their lives will never be the same.
