Ch. 14 Conquering Her Fears

At Cece's apartment

Cece pov
"Cece, breakfast is ready", "going mother" I say, as I finish putting on my shoes on, and for some reason I look at my morpher, "I don't know what today's gonna be like, but I just hope I don't have to use this", I say, puttingy morpher away. I leave my room and go to the table, "so, what's on the agenda today Cece?", asks Flynn, "me and the others are just gonna spendthe day doing homework, so that's why we're heading to the library", "that explains why you're dressed so nice", says my mom, "is it beacuse you're dressing nice to impress Max", says Flynn, making me blush, "w-what, no, t-that's crazy", I say, "c'mon, it's totally obvious you like him", "cut it out Flynn, I think it's cute Max and Cece like each other", "no, he doesn't like me", I say, "oh, yes he does, I see how he looks at you, your dad used to look at me like that", "ok, I'm leaving, I'm going to eat breakfast somewhere else, where I'm not being picked on for liking a boy", "I knew it", says my brother as I go to my room to grab my gab.

As I leave my apartment, I walk towards the stairs and see Max coming up, "oh, hey Max, "Cece, hey, you ready?", "yeah totally, let's go", I say, but while heading down the stairs, I see a spider on the wall, "spider, help", I say, grabbing onto Max, "woah, calm down Cece, the spider won't do anything to you unless you provoke it", he says, holding onto me, "ok, but let's get outta here, spiders freak me out", I say, hiding my fave in his chest, "alright, c'mon, let's grab breakfast, I'm getting pretty hungry, I'll buy", he says, "ok, I want pamcakes", "ok, then let's get pancakes", he says, so I look to him, "ok, let's go" I say, as we leave.

Vrak pov
After the Rangers defeated anpther Mutant yesturday, I've sent Zombats to follow and watch them, and watching the Pink Ranger hide in fear gives me an idea, "watching this, I know the perfect Mutant Spidertron", I say, turning around, "you rang?", "yes, go and attack the city, and scare the Pink Rangerc she's afraid of spiders, use that to your advantage", I say, and he disappears, "this is over, they won't win".

Cece pov
Max and I are finishing up our pancakes before heading ti the library for the dag "that was delicious" I say, as I take a drink of my glass of milk, "yeah, that was", "hey, Cecec can I ask a question?", "sure Max what's up", "well, I like this girl, but I don't know how to tell her", he says, and as he does, what my mom said comes to my mind, 'I think it's cute Max amd Cece lile each other'. Max can't be talking about me, could he?, "well, what's she like?", "she's cute, smart, funny, but most of all, what gets me, is how she smiles, she has the most beautiful smile I've ever seen, everytime she smiles, I wanna smile with her", he says, as he looks to his phone, "well, if she makes you feel like that, you should tell her how you feel", I say, "... I don't know, I don't think she likes me back" he says, "you won't know until you..." I was saying, before our morphers go off, so we grab our bags and go outside, and find a goid hiding place, "what's going on Gosei?", says Max, "there's a monster attck downtown, I've already called the others", he says, "we're going, let's go", "right.. Go Go Megaforce!", we say, morphing and teleporting.

Narrators pov
As Spidertron is cauing destruction, the Rangers show up, "stop right there", says Max, but as Cece looks at the monster, she see's it's a spider, "no, not a spider", she says, sounding scared, "that's right, Cece's afraid of spiders", says Rocky, "hahaha, look at the Pink Ranger, a scaredy cat", he says, laughing at Cece, "I wouldnt be laughing, cause 4 of us aren't afraid of spiders", says Max, "guys, I don't think I can do this", says Cece, "Cece, we need you, we're a team, we need each other", "I know, but, I'm afraid", she says, "I would worry about yourselves", they hear, as Spidertron attacks the Rangers. The Rangers get back up, but Cece is freaking out, 'why does it have to be a spider', she thinks, as she grabs her Phoenix Shot, "c'mon Rangers, we need to fight back", "yeah, Cece, are you ok?", asks Rocky, "no I'm totally freaking out", she says, pointing her Phoenix Shot towards Spidertron.
