~*Ella's P.O.V*~

I woke up abruptly with the sound of my ringtone going off. Picking up the phone I heard the voice of Joe West, Barry's foster father.

"Hey Ella. How are you doing?" He greeted.

"I'm...okay...for the most part. Any word on Barry?" I asked, my voice hoarse from crying so much these past months.

"I'm actually calling about that. Could you come down to the CCPD?" He replied.

"Sure, I can be there in a few minutes." I asked.

"Ok, see you in a few minutes." He replied.

I hung up and got dressed in a red sweater with the Flash Logo on it and paired it with a pair of jeans before I ran to the CCPD. When I got here I was greeted by Iris running up to me giving me a well-needed hug.

"Whats this for Iris?" I asked.

"Its a "sorry" for not being there for you but, I think I can make it up to you." She replied with a smile.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked.

"We got Barry back but, he's acting a little strange. Maybe you can talk some sense into him?" Iris explained.

I sat there staring at her in shock before her words sunk in.

"You found him?!" I asked happily "Where is he?"

She nodded over to the captain's office.

"Can I go in?" I asked.

"Just be cautious, he's not himself exactly." She replied.

"Okay? I will." I replied, a little confused.

I walked inside to see Barry scribbling symbols onto a whiteboard. Off to the side Joe, Cisco, and Caitlin were talking, not noticing that I had entered the room. Turning back to Barry I slowly approached him.

"Barry?" I greeted softly so only he could hear.

"Your honor, I'm innocent. Barry replied turning to me.

"Barry, what are you talking about? Its me, Ella, your fiance." I replied resisting the urge I had to wrap my arms around him.

It broke my heart to see him like this. I let him continue with his scribbling as I walked up to Caitlin.

"Please tell e that there's something you can do to help him Caitlin." I greeted.

"He seems to have suffered some neurological trauma. I might be able to help him but I don't know how much I can help him." She replied.

I nodded, understandingly, in response.

"I see, thank you Caitlin. I'm going to go get some air." I explained walking out of the room before they could see the tears leaving my eyes.

Once I was outside of the CCPD, I ran off to Star Labs. I changed into a Star Labs T-shirt and leggings before I started to run around the track in the training room. A few minutes later I could see Cisco walking into the training room. I slowed down before meeting him down by the entrance to the track.

"Are you okay Ella?" Cisco greeted.

All of the tears I had been holding back began to tumble out of my eyes.

"Hey, come here." Cisco said wrapping his arms around me in a brotherly hug.

Cisco was one of the only people who decided to not leave me by myself through the several months that I had been without Barry. He had, in a sense, acted like an older brother towards me.

"I feel like someone ran me through the heart with a lightsaber." I cried, causing him to chuckle.

"Whats wrong?" He asked.

"It hurts knowing that I can't help him, that he has to go through this. I want to end it, I want my Barry back." I replied.

"What are you talking about? Of course you can help him!" Cisco exclaimed.

"How? All I've done is sit at home crying all day." I replied.

"Ella, you're the Flashette! You can help him by keeping the city safe until we can get the Barry you know and love back." Cisco explained.

As Cisco finished talking a blaring alarm sounded, ringing throughout Star Labs alerting everyone of a metahuman attack.
