A Day in the Sun

Halloween

"Hey, wake up!" A familiar voice says.

I groaned. Someone shakes me until I lean up.

"Wait a second... who said that?" I finally realized something was off. My voice sounded a lot deeper; I think I might be getting a cold.

"Stop joking around and get up," they said.

I turn a look at a clock beside this unfamiliar bed. It says that it's 4:56am on October thirty first.

I'm puzzled. Why is there a random guy in my room waking me up at like 5am?

He turned the lights on, and I saw the face of Juyeon. I gasped and jumped out of the small bed.

"Is this a dream?" I thought out loud.

"What are you talking about. Get ready, or you'll be late."

Late for what?

I walked along a narrow hallway to a room that I suspected was the bathroom. The door was halfway open, and the light was on.

I walked in, closing the door behind me. When I turned around I saw Younghoon getting out of the shower. I was unprepared. I turned around and screamed in a husky voice.

"Wow, I've never heard you scream before, Sunwoo." He laughed, and it sounded like he put some pants on so I turned back around.

"What are you talking about? What are you doing in here? I'm not Sunwoo."

Younghoon looked at me like I was stupid. He asked, "Are you sick? Do you have a cold? I told you not to stay out in the cold for too long last night."

Juyeon came in to see what the commotion was about.

I was scared, so I stayed near the door of the bathroom while they were talking.

Juyeon comes up to me and puts his hand on my forehead.

"What is he doing? He's too close!" I thought.

He leans in closer to check my eyes. I fainted.

I woke up again with a splash of cold water on my face. The two boys were standing beside me on the bathroom floor making me anxious. They looked relieved when I woke up.

"Take it easy, Sunwoo." Said Juyeon. "We need you in one piece for practice today."

I stood up and walked over to the mirror. The reflection I saw was not my own, but it was Sunwoo's. I was spooked.

"How did this happen? Why? Will I ever go back to my former self?" I though to myself.

I noticed I wasn't wearing a shirt and covered myself so that the boys wouldn't see me shirtless even if I was Sunwoo.

"Can I tell you guys something?" I asked them.

"You can always talk to us." Said Younghoon.

"Don't think I'm crazy, but I... I'm not Sunwoo. I'm just a girl from Busan, and I don't know how I got into this situation."

"I can't imagine Sunwoo as a girl, but he has been acting strange today." Said Juyeon.

"I believe you, and I'm sorry if I scarred you earlier," said Younghoon.

"If it is true, we shouldn't tell the other boys; they might overreact about this." Juyeon said.

"Yes, I agree." I said. "I'll just stay here and not go to the practice."
