The Autumn season is in full swing along with magic and pumpkin spice lattes! So go grab a blanket, and cuddle down for a fun read from the thoughts and advice of an Autumn Girl!
After the holidays it's crucial to unwind and recharge. But many of you are in the boat of self neglect! This could be as simple as not enough sleep and not enough fluids, to never having given yourself a spa day! Not enough people realize that it is so important to take care of yourself, to care for your body. Why? Because you are the most important person in your life. You need to start taking care of your own needs! You can't take care of others if your all burnt out!
What better time to start self care then now, when the fall season is here! Below will be my list to you, of self care during the Fall Season.
1. Light pumpkin spice candles and take a cinnamon incense bath
2. Grab a snuggy blanket and stay indoors for a day in leggings and a sweater, binge watching Halloween Movies! (Hocus Pocus all the waaaay!)
3. Read a spooky book with a cup of Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate by the fire place
4. Cuddle with a pet and watch a scary movie together (caramel popcorn is great this time of year!)
5. Fuzzy socks and tea!
6. Have an emergency stash of your favorite Halloween Candy!
7. SEVEN TO NINE HOURS OF SLEEP!!!
8. Go to a pumpkin Patch!
9. Fall calls for Hot Apple Cider!
10. Bundle up and get outside! Autumn walks are the best!
11. Hay Rides!
12. Fuzzy Socks, slippers, a hot water bottle, and a nap!(A hot water Bottle will be an essential in my following self care routine for everyday!)
13. Pumpkin Spice Pedicures! MY FAVORITE!
14. Apple Picking is a must!
15. S'mores!
16. The right pajamas for the weather! This means fuzzy pants and cat slippers!
17. Coloring books by the fire place! there are some adorable Halloween coloring books at the
dollar store this time of year ^-^
18. Jump in leaves! Channeling your inner child is so healthy for you mentally and emotionally!
19. Hot Cocoa=mystery, drama, and horror books!
20. Warm Chai Tea
21. Bundle up and go look at Halloween Decorations people have put up!
22. Autumn Picnic in a park
23. Star gazing!
24: Sit in leaves and watch the clouds go by
Buy smelly markers and pens ( fruit scents are the best!) and write a letter to someone
These are a few Autumn Ideas of self care! In the next chapters I will talk about establishing a self care routine everyday (this means foot massages, lotion tips, etc!), And creating an atmosphere for self care too! your space is just as important as what you do!
