As I opened the conversation I chewed at the toothpick in my mouth. I always had to be chewing on something. I scanned the page and read her answer. And then re-read it and then re-read it once more. Her answer was perfectly clear I just think I may have been in shock that she seemed to want to carry on the conversation. We talked and talked, telling each other all there was to know about each of us. And as we talked I began to really enjoy her company. She listened and when I say listened of course I don't mean literally because we were messaging but I mean that she cared. Or seemed to for that matter, but that was enough for me. As far as I could tell this girl was the real deal. No lies, no bullshit. She was open with me in a way that made me trust. Oh and if you're wondering what her response was, it was short. But I knew exactly how to respond back.
