"Baby?" Seokjin called out for his lover.
She had been distant lately, but Seokjin thought it was just because of the exams that were coming up.
She lightly hummed in response, the sound like music to Seokjin's ears.
"Look at me." He demands.
However, she didn't look at him. Seokjin gently grabbed her chin, making her face him.
Her eyes weren't their usual bright, loving selves; they seemed dark and sad. More noticeably - guilty.
"Are you okay, baby? You seem distant," Seokjin says, brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
"I'm fine, Jin. I'm just...tired."
Seokjin felt as if she was hiding something, but he didn't pester her anymore. But he should've, maybe then his heart wouldn't have been broken so badly.
