While my brother was driving me to school I really dreaded going considering that Tyler’s friends know what I am and don’t like it. As Sam pulled up to the school I ducked my head, because I saw Dawson he’s one of the guy’s that was there that day they found out I was gay. Getting out of the car, I hid behind Sam until we both got in the building. As I’m walking up to my locker I try to get their, but there was a crowed, so I push my way through to see what was going on. After I was passed the crowed looking up I see that my locker had the word ‘fag’ panted on it I couldn’t believe my eyes. All I wanted to do at that point was run away, and that is exactly what I did I ran out of that school and straight into a girl.

We both fell over and books went everywhere I helped her pick her books up in silence then started walking away. Very afraid to tell her why I was running so I just decided to walk straight to my first period class heart beating fast trying to calm down, but it wasn’t easy. Before class I heard people whispering about me and most of them where nice but others weren’t. Class went fast and as the bell rang I fast walked well practically ran to second period.

As class started the girl that I pushed over in the halls came in with a small blue paper when she was talking to the teacher I noticed that I have the only empty desk was next to me. When the girl was done talking to Mrs. Dawn, she points her in the direction of the desk right next to me. While class was starting I kept my head down, so she wouldn’t notices me, but it didn't work. I wish I knew her name so I could tell her to stop starring. As the mystery girl was staring creepily I might ad, Mrs. Dawn started class.

“So class we have a new student and her name is Josephine, but she likes to go by Joey please be nice to her it is her first day here.” She got a stack of papers. “Okay so let’s tell Joey our name and one thing you want her to know about you Alex why don’t you start.”

We all know he was picked first not because he was first on the list of names, but because he was talking so instead of arguing he stud up said his name and that he liked to skate bored. Then it went on and on when it got closer to me I started panicking what should I say? There is no way I'm saying I like guys. Finley it was my turn.

“Hey my name is Seth and I-like-to-swim.” I quickly sat down so that next person could go. When we were done with that there is only five minutes left so the teacher just let’s us talk till class was over. I sat there in peace till Joey came to talk to me.

“Hey.”

I didn’t respond.

“Okay fine don’t answer me. Oh by the way, why where you running so fast in the halls? Heck why were you running at all?”

“I don’t know?” I looked down wondering if she would go away so I could just relax till I go to me next class. I don't even know why it was any of her business as to why I was in the first place.

“Of course you do you just don’t want to tell me.” She said frustrated.

“Yeah so could you go away?” I said getting frustrated also.

“Why don’t you want to talk about it?” She asked still pushing the subject. What is she a therapist.

“Well, because I’m having a really bad day and I usually don’t tell strangers why.” I looked at her.

“Come on some times it helps.”

“You’ll probably find out soon enough.”

“Okay fine don’t tell me I was just trying to be nice.” She got up as soon as the bell rang and started walking out the door.
